Day 1
You will be picked up after your breakfast from your hotel by our guide who will brief you about your tour and then depart for Kibale National Park which will take five and a half hours of driving. After lunch, you will be taken for a Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk. This guided swamp walk takes you closer to seeing primates mostly monkeys, birds, and butterflies. The wetland is a bird paradise with about 138 species and is best known for being home to the great blue turaco. This is a 2½ - 3 hour walk and is a must for bird lovers. Hopefully, you will spot the elusive Sitatunga antelope and the shoebill stork. This is nothing to be missed. You will meet some of the primates here, even a chimpanzee at times. Other primate species include the black-and-white Colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Also, bushbucks, mongooses, and many more can also be found here. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2
Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them! The park is popular for its primate population like the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, red-cheeked monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys. On your chimpanzee trails, these are regularly seen swinging in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. An experienced ranger will take you chimp tracking in the morning around 6:30 a.m. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Budget lodge located just outside Kibale NP (Chimps) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

5.0/5The guide was very friendly, the accommodation was nice, and the walk for the Gorillaz was very short. I went as a solo traveler and would recommend it.

I went with Moroka Expeditions to 4-day Kidepo valley trek this October and I can recommend them to everyone. All the things were perfectly organized - they picked me up at the hotel and everything was very smooth during the whole trip. I also wanted to visit some local community and they also organized that. My guide William was friendly, professional and also very knowledgable - he is the birdwatcher but knows a lot about all kinds of animals and it was great to learn something new with each trip to the park. Also the car was in top condition which is a necessity in the park and Karamoja region (it is not always like that with other companies as I found out on other trips). Thanks a lot to the whole team and especially William for allowing me to do this trip. Hopefully it was not the last time I visited this region.

Communication was great from the start. Price compared favourably to other companies. The vehicle, accommodation, and food were all great. Loved the Nile river cruise. Saw all the animals who wanted to accept a leopard, which are very hard to spot. Stunning scenery. Our driver was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend recommended

Moroka expeditions, and in particular our guide Collins, was STELLAR! If you can, request Collins. He was very courteous, helpful, reliable, and professional the entire time. A pleasure to be around for the entire duration. Regarding the trekking, it was PHENOMENAL, BREATHTAKING, and MIND-BLOWING! We had the chance to spend an hour watching a family of mountain gorillas UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!!! We could hear them through the bushes as we walked up. Also, we got to stay at some BEAUTIFUL resorts with EXQUISITE views, food, and service. The restaurants we ate along the journey were local and good as well. Collins (our guide) was gracious enough to give us several “lessons” about Uganda, food, vegetation, etc. as we traveled by car to the various destinations. He made the trip fun, informative, and interesting. Would definitely do this experience again and would most certainly recommend others to experience this. 8 thumbs up!
