Overview
This safari offers guests a real African safari experience by staying in rustic, but comfortable accommodation in the treehouses at the Tremisana lodge and Marc's Treehouse Lodge. The lodge is located forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The tour includes a sunset game drive, a full day in the Kruger Park, and a sunrise bush walk along the Klaserie River. The tour ends with a scenic drive back to Johannesburg via the Panorama Route.

Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Guests are collected from OR Tambo International Airport or a pre-arranged hotel/guest lodge within the city precinct of Johannesburg or Pretoria. The route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region. We have a stopover for lunch along the way (own expense). Arrive at Tremisana Lodge at midday, book in to your accommodation, freshen up and rest. We depart for a sunset safari tour and Return for a star-lit dinner around the boma. Wake up early (05h30 - 06h00) for a full-day safari tour of the Kruger National Park, stopping at a popular rest camp for lunch. We check into Marc’s Treehouse Lodge in the late afternoon. You will spend another magical night around the boma, enjoying an authentic African meal. Kruger Park - Johannesburg
Wake up early and set off with a professional safari guide for a 1-hour sunrise bush walk along the Klaserie River. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. You depart mid-morning for your return trip to Johannesburg. Travel via the Panorama Route to see the beautiful Three Rondavels that overlook the Blyde River Canyon. Stop for a bite to eat and refreshments along the way. Arrive late afternoon (17h00) in Johannesburg where we drop you off at OR Tambo International Airport or your hotel or guest lodge. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
