Nhlalala is in Shangaan language known as Honey bird. Is a common and most significant bird for any African herdsmen in African folklore. In the golden years where wealth was measured by livestock, young men had to go to the wild to look after livestock. When the young were out in the wild, one of the birds to interact was Nhlalala. It became a most valuable friend of the herdsmen as it is known for guiding human nature into Bee colonies. The bird guidance has increased honey-hunters' rates...

5.0/5Our group of five had an amazing trip to Pilanesberg National Park, which we booked through Nhlalala Travel, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve had together. The day started early with our pick-up in Pretoria central on time and everything was well organised. The driver was friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. We had enough restrooms stops During the drive and shops ,we were all excited, talking about what animals we hoped to see. Even the journey there felt enjoyable because the atmosphere in the vehicle was relaxed and fun. When we arrived at Pilanesberg, the scenery immediately stood out. The park is so beautiful, with mountains, open plains, and lots of greenery. As soon as the game drive started, we were all quiet and focused, looking out for animals. It didn’t take long before we spotted our first animals, and that’s when the excitement really kicked in. We saw elephants walking slowly across the road, and at one point they came quite close to the vehicle, which was both exciting and a little scary. We also saw zebras, giraffes, and different types of antelope. One of the best moments was watching a group of giraffes standing together in the distance—it felt like something out of a movie. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the animals and their behaviour. He also made sure everyone in our group had a chance to see and take pictures, which made the experience feel personal. Being just five of us made it even better because it wasn’t crowded, and we could enjoy every moment. It was quite hot during the day, but we stayed hydrated and didn’t let it ruin the experience. In fact, the weather made it feel like a real African safari. We shared laughs, took lots of pictures, and created memories that we will always remember. Overall, Nhlalala Travel provided excellent service from start to finish. The trip was well planned, enjoyable, and truly unforgettable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a genuine and exciting safari experience.

We had an absolutely amazing 4-day safari experience in Kruger National Park with Nhlalala Travel. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, with punctual schedules and smooth logistics that made the trip completely stress-free. We were accompanied by different guides during the safari, and all of them were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They were always happy to adapt the program to our requests and were genuinely motivated to help us see as many animals as possible. Thanks to their experience and dedication, we were lucky enough to spot all of the Big Five, along with many other incredible species. The accommodation and lodges were outstanding — comfortable, beautiful, and immersed in nature, which made the whole experience even more special. Meals and overall service were excellent and added to the feeling of being well taken care of throughout the trip. The value for money was truly excellent considering the quality of the organization, the guides, and the lodges. It exceeded our expectations in every way. This safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we could not recommend Nhlalala Travel more highly to anyone looking for a well-organized, flexible, and unforgettable safari in Kruger National Park.

We had an amazing custom trip organized by this agency. Their communication was incredibly fast and the guides were fantastic—being locals, they gave us so many unique tips that made our experience truly special. Even when we hit an unexpected closed road on the Panorama Route, they resolved it immediately without any stress for us. The Kruger safaris were also perfectly organized, with easy pickups right from our lodges. If you want a professional, tailor-made adventure, look no further!

Nhlalala Travel set up 3 days Safari tour as we wish being always kind and available. Special thanks to Norman who was our man who was every time kind and professional with us. The same with Sibusiso who brought us in a full day safari, and also the local guide partner Patrick which collaborated with Nhlalala Travel.
