Day 1
Fly to Lalibela & Visit the Rock hewn Churches
Arrive to Lalibela and take the airport shuttle transfer to the town and visit the rock hewn churches After lunch we will drive to sits where we find a concentration of some of Ethiopia most famous Rock hewn churches, mostly referred by many as " the living wonders of the world " this churches are they have been here for at list 900 years, an active christen shrine, spiritual center of the country religious life. Then we will visit Northwestern Clusters of churches this group contains, Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bet Mikael & Golgotha Finally we will visit the most famous of all the churches – Bet Giyorgis, a huge monolithic in the shape of a cross, and constructed in honor of St. George, the patron saint of Ethiopia Overnight :- Lalibela. Trek to Asheton Merry monastery & Hudad Lodge
After breakfast trek to visit the monastery church of Asheton mary (3200m above sea-level)The monastery located 2hr walk from lalibela and still Active After short break Trek 1.5hr to lalibela hudad Eco lodge (3400m above sea-level)positioned to take in 360 degree views over the surrounding countryside Lunch at the lalibela Hudad Eco lodge and spend the reminder of the afternoon watching black Ghelada baboons, mountain hyrax, different endemic birds. Let afternoon back to lalibela in different direction 2hr on the way we will have a stop in the local village to learn about the life of the local people Overnight :- Lalibela. Early morning we will attend church service in one of the churches of Lalibela to assure you still the churches are active for 900years. After breakfast we continue to visit the Southeastern Cluster of Lalibela churches – Bet Gabriel-Rufael, Bet Merkorios, Bet Amanual, and Bet Abba Libanos Finally we will drive to Lalibela airport to return to Addis Ababa. Excellent tour guide!! Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Ethiopia to book some day tours with him. He is very knowledgeable with the history of Ethiopia and has a great rapport with the local museums and restaurants. When I return I'll definitely be booking a Lalibela tour.

Dan is a great guide, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He organised a 10 day tour of Ethiopia for us. Arranging internal flights, hotels, driver's and other guides for us and he didn't want any money in advance, we just paid him cash on arrival which we thought was very trusting as we could have changed our mind leaving him out of pocket. We really enjoyed our tour he arranged and thought it was great value for money. Definitely recommend him.
