You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Nairobi-Mount Kenya
You will leave Nairobi town at 6:00 AM for Nanyuki (if you are being picked up from Nairobi). This is a three-hour drive by road through beautiful countryside. You'll have breakfast in Nanyuki (own cost), then proceed to Sirimon at 10 AM. We prepare and sort the hiking items and then have lunch before the hike starts. From the gate, you'll follow the track as it winds uphill through the forest, which later becomes heathland to Old Moses camp (3300m asl). Your dinner and overnight stay at Old Moses Camp Cabin. Day 2
Mount Kenya
After breakfast, you'll follow the track uphill, forking left at the junction. After one hour from Old Moses camp, the track crosses the Ontulili River. You'll go right contouring through the moorland and crossing Likii North, and continue uphill to Mackinder’s Valley, from where there are panoramic views up the valley towards the main peaks. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Shipton's Camp. on Mt Kenya All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 3
Mount Kenya-Nairobi
You'll leave at 2:00 AM up a steep stony quarry that cuts through a cliff, clearing visible part towards the lower hall tarns, arriving at the point Lenana (4,985m) at 6:30 AM, taking about 3 hrs. After the sunrise, you will descend to Shipton's camp for breakfast. Later, you will proceed down to Old Moses' Camp for lunch. Upon finishing your lunch, you'll board your private vehicle for transfer back to Nairobi. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
