Day 1
Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
In the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up by our Uganda gorillas and golden monkey trek tour driver-guide from your hotel/ Kigali Airport and go for a city tour. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre and local craft markets by your choice. You will then have lunch afterwards and set off for a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Bwindi is one of the few homes for the world’s remaining mountain gorillas after Congo and Rwanda and with a big number. Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Transfer to Musanze
You will have an early morning breakfast. You'll head to the park office headquarters together with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water, and dress in good trekking attire (long trousers). You will attend the briefing about the behaviors of these gentle animals (gorillas) in the impenetrable forest. You're allowed to spend one hour with the gorillas once you find them. The whole tracking takes between 4 – 6 hours, depending on their movements. Later on, you will return from gorilla trekking and the tour driver-guide will transfer you through the Cyanika border to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. You will reach there early evening and proceed to check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3
Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Transfer to Kigali City
On this day, after your morning breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters ready for your golden monkey trekking tour. Golden Monkeys are one of the endangered monkey species that are typically found in this region, but are habituated to human presence. You will be briefed before you head out with your lead guide to track them. Once you finish trekking, you will then embark on your scenic journey to Kigali, which takes about a 3-hour drive. On arrival in Kigali, the tour driver-guide will transfer you to Kigali International Airport to catch up with your flight or be dropped off at your hotel as you mark the end of your tour. A dream came true
