Day 1
Fly to Gondar, Visit Fasil Castel & Debre Berhan
You'll meet at Gondar Airport and drive to your hotel. You'll begin your journey to the royal campus known as Fasil Ghebi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll see the 6 castles and the renowned basin where the annual bathing blessing ceremony is held. You'll enjoy a view of the basalt stone palace of Emperor Fasilidas, the oldest structure within this complex. You'll see the Library of Emperor Yohannes I, the Emperor Bakaffa Salon, and the King's Wife's Palace. See the Kuskuam Palace, Empress Mentewab's Palace, and Quskuam Mariam Church, built in honor of the Virgin Mary. Continue to the Debre Birhan Selassie Church to see its elaborate murals. Learn about the legends of the sacred castle. Return to the hotel for the night. Day 2
Trekking to the Simien Mountains National Park
You'll leave Gondar and head to the highlands of northern Ethiopia. On this day, you will have a game drive at Simien Mountain National Park. You'll arrive at Debark, a small city on the border of Simien National Park. Following a short pitstop, you'll go south within the park to Sankaber. You'll see the largest population of baboons in Ethiopia. Overnight: Camping. Inside Simien Mountains NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 3
Fly back to Addis Ababa

Well-organized tour
The tour was well organized. Big pros: When any issues arose, the organizer immediately intervened and rectified the situation. Points: 3-star hotels. All were clean, with showers, breakfast included. Transfers: I was met and seen off everywhere, and they helped with our luggage. There was a slight hitch when we arrived in Ethiopia at the airport. I expected to be met at the arrivals exit (this is usually the case). It turned out I had to exit the airport and walk to the parking lot, which I should have mentioned in advance. Transportation: I had private tours around Addis Ababa. The vehicle was clean and good. Around the salt lake, we traveled in a large Land Cruiser, with a driver and three tourists. No problems at all. Guides: Guides with good English. Both the guides and drivers were friendly, helpful, informative, and answered questions. No tips were required. Everything was fine. Additionally: In the area of the volcano and salt lake, you have to sleep outside. I even liked it – the view of the star is stunning. Cons: no shower or proper toilet.
