Day 1
Malindi to Tsavo East – Afternoon Game Drive
Pick up from your hotel in Malindi at around 08:30 hrs and begin your drive inland toward Tsavo East National Park, passing rural villages, coastal farmlands, and the scenic Galana River region. Enter the park through Sala Gate, where your first wildlife sightings begin. Enjoy a short highlight game drive en route to your lodge. Check in at Avid Lodge, Voi, for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive until evening, exploring Tsavo East’s open plains and wildlife-rich areas, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. Day 2
Voi to Amboseli – Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, depart Tsavo East around 08:00 hrs and drive toward Amboseli National Park, arriving before midday. Check in at your lodge, enjoy an early lunch, and relax before the afternoon game drive. February is an excellent month for wildlife viewing in Amboseli, as animals concentrate around the southern marshlands, fed by underground springs from Mount Kilimanjaro. This natural gathering ensures high chances of spotting large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other plains game. Spend the afternoon exploring the park’s wildlife-rich hotspots and enjoy spectacular sunset views over the plains with Kilimanjaro in the background. Optional: on day two, guests may opt for an easy hike to Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and surrounding landscapes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3
Morning Game Drive and Return to Malindi
Enjoy a pre-breakfast sunrise game drive in Amboseli for one last chance to spot wildlife in the early hours when activity is highest. Return to camp for breakfast, check out, and begin your journey back to Malindi. Stop for lunch in Voi before continuing to the coast, arriving in Malindi in the late evening. Good planning
I had a great experience on my Mount Kenya trip. The views were stunning and everything was well organized. Unfortunately, after summit day I had to cut the trek short due to sunstroke and altitude sickness. However, the early return was handled very smoothly, a driver was arranged to pick me up directly in the national park, which worked out perfectly. Overall, despite the unexpected change of plans, the trip was excellent and well managed.

We wanted to experience the very best of the Masai Mara safari, and although we booked just a month before our travel dates, January, the Dreamlike Africa team still managed to make it work beautifully. Though our preferred accommodation Mara Serena was already full, the team at dreamlike secured us a stay at Mara sopa lodge which though ranked lower was okey. Our guide David was attentive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made sure our 3-day stay was packed with sightings, including lions on the hunting. Dreamlike Africa turned a potentially stressful last-minute plan into a seamless, unforgettable experience.

Very good experience.
It was a very good experience with our guide Maro. Game drives were nice, we had explanations when we were asking, water was included, we had time and we saw many animals. The roads from Tsavo to Amboseli are really bad in 2026 though. It could have been better to be in a more recent car, more comfortable.
