Arrival and rainforest tour
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, a guide will be waiting to transfer you directly to Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge for check-in. After settling in and refreshing, a vehicle will take you to the Victoria Falls rainforest for a self-guided tour, passing by the iconic baobab tree en route. After exploring the majestic falls, you may choose to enjoy optional activities such as a relaxing sunset boat cruise or an exciting evening at the Boma Dinner and Drum Show. Day 2
Hwange National Park game drive
After an early breakfast, your safari adventure begins with a 06:30 pickup from your lodge in Victoria Falls. You'll enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Hwange National Park. Upon arrival, you'll meet your experienced safari guide who will accompany you throughout the day. The full-day game drive runs from 09:00 to 16:00, giving you plenty of time to explore the vast landscapes of Zimbabwe’s largest and most iconic national park. Your guide will use expert tracking skills and deep knowledge of the area to help locate and identify a wide variety of wildlife. You’ll learn about animal behavior, bird species, and the unique ecosystem of Hwange. Expect to see elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions, leopards, and other predators. A packed lunch is provided and will be enjoyed at one of the scenic picnic sites inside the park. Throughout the day, you’ll also have time to take photos, ask questions, and simply absorb the natural beauty of the bush. Departure and optional activities
On your final day, enjoy a delicious breakfast at Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge. Depending on your flight time, you can take part in optional activities such as a serene sunrise boat cruise on the Zambezi River, the unique Bamba Tram experience, a thrilling helicopter flight over the falls, or any other activity of your choice (all at an additional cost).
