Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
You can fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Cape Town. We will also meet you at Eastgate for transportation to and from Kapama Game Reserve. We arrange your transfer from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to Kapama Private Game Reserve in time for you to clean up and eat before embarking on an afternoon game drive with your ranger and tracker into the reserve. During the drive, you will stop for a sundowner and get the opportunity to stretch your legs while watching the sunset over the distant Drakensberg mountains. As nightfall approaches, the nocturnal animals of the bush emerge. During the trip back to the resort at night, a variety of distinct species might be observed. The adept tracker will sweep the landscape with a flashlight that highlights the eyes of animals. Arrival at the lodge is often around 7:00 pm, leaving ample time to refresh up before a delectable meal. Your accommodation is arranged and provided at Kapama Buffalo Lodge. Luxury tented camp located inside Kapama GR (Greater Kruger) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinks not included
Day 2
You will rise between 5:00 and 5:30 am each morning for tea or coffee and rusks before setting off on a morning game drive. The reserve's wildlife is typically more active in the morning due to the reserve's colder temperatures, and the softer light makes for excellent photographs. After a substantial breakfast at the lodge, you will have time to relax by the pool, read a nice book, and enjoy the rest of the lodge's amenities. After a sumptuous high tea, you will go on an afternoon wildlife drive that may last past twilight; the day will invariably conclude with a delicious dinner and a discussion of the day's sightings. Accommodation for both nights is provided at Kapama Buffalo Lodge. Luxury tented camp located inside Kapama GR (Greater Kruger) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 4
The final day of your safari will begin with an early morning wildlife drive and, hopefully, some unforgettable sightings. After the drive, you will have breakfast at your resort before being transferred to the Eastgate Airport for your return flight. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe

Martin took us through the reserve to locate the animals. He answered our questions and taught us so many things about the big 5
Dayo · Australia
We had a very good time at the Dumela Tented Camp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guides on the game drives were really good. We had luck and could see many different animals.
Kerrin · Germany
Really enjoyable and informative tour which also included an eye opening tour of the poorer parts of Soweto. Our guide Thomas was excellent , very knowledgable about a number of key historical events . A top quality tour and highly recommended .
