Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Evening Game Drive
You begin your journey with a pick-up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an exciting evening game drive. You'll enjoy the scenic ride through lush landscapes and charming villages, with a quick stop at the Equator. Upon arrival, you will venture into the park’s expansive savannah, where wildlife roams freely. Watch for elephants, buffalo, antelope, and maybe even the elusive leopard as the sun sets. Day 2
Morning Game, Kazinga Channel Boat Trip and Transfer to Kasese
After breakfast, you will check out and head to the car for a morning game drive, taking in the fresh air and stunning scenery as wildlife begins to stir. The adventure continues with a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, where the calm waters reveal a vibrant ecosystem. Watch elephants and buffalo graze along the banks, hippos lounging in the shallows, and a variety of bird species soaring above. The gentle cruise offers a peaceful yet thrilling glimpse into the natural beauty of the area, with plenty of opportunities for photography and quiet reflection. After the boat trip, you will return to shore and prepare for the transfer to Kasese. Drive to the Trekking Center, Rwenzori Trek, & Transfer to Fort Portal
You start the day with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the adventure ahead, then head out on a scenic drive to the trekking center, the gateway to the breathtaking Rwenzori trek. Along the way, you enjoy views of lush landscapes and the towering peaks that lie ahead. You'll spend the morning and early afternoon trekking with mountain guides, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this remarkable region. Later, you'll take a comfortable transfer to Fort Portal, a charming town surrounded by rolling hills and tea plantations, with plenty of spots for photo stops along the route. My 3 days long safari in Murchison Falls was really great! The activities were balanced out perfectly with a short hike to see the waterfalls, game drives, a boat tour on the Nile, and the rhino tracking, which was my favorite! For me the strenght of safari was being able to see a lot of animals and stunning nature without having to be in the car all the time. The accommodations were super nice: confortable, clean and in beautiful locations. I highly recommend choosing Gatsio Safari as not only is it good value for money but you will also get a great service. Our guide Adams brought a lot of energy and created a good atmosphere in the group while Nickson managed my reservation answering all my questions, and supporting me with my requests, last but not least, he's also a very good hang. No reasons not to choose them!
