You'll arrive in Kigali on an evening RwandAir vessel from Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will enjoy meet & assist, including luggage handling, immigration support, and access to the VIP lounge. After breakfast, you will embark on a guided city tour, starting with the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to Rwanda’s past. You will continue to Niyo Art Gallery, showcasing local talent and cultural heritage. You'll enjoy lunch at Khana Khazana, a top-rated Indian restaurant in Kigali. In the afternoon, you will depart for Volcanoes National Park, passing through Rwanda’s stunning highland landscapes. You'll arrive at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel for check-in, followed by an evening at leisure. Volcanoes National Park (Trek Gorillas)
You'll start early with breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. You will drive to the trailhead and begin your once-in-a-lifetime trek, navigating lush, misty forests in search of a mountain gorilla family. You'll spend an unforgettable hour observing these majestic primates before returning to the hotel for lunch and a well-earned rest. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, an immersive museum experience dedicated to gorilla conservation. Exploring Rwanda’s cultural roots was truly enriching! From the King’s Palace Museum to the Ethnographic Museum, every stop offered powerful insight and learning. I had the pleasure of experiencing it all with 49 students—and as a teacher, I found myself learning just as much. We wrapped up the day with a lovely lunch and great conversations. Our Tour started from Kigali, we went to Akagera N Park it was a wonderful experience we saw most of the big five : elephants, rhinos, lions ( alot of them thanks to the Tour Guide) , African Buffalo , we also did a boat ride saw different birds it’s was a wonderful experience
