Day 1
Nelspruit to Sabi Sand Game Reserve
When you land at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Umkumbe Bush Lodge, your home in the bush for the next three nights. After checking in, settle down and head out on your first shared afternoon/night game drive. Returning in the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner followed by drinks around the campfire. Please note that for 2026 bookings, no children under the age of 10 years will be accepted at Umkumbe Bush Lodge and children 12 years and older pay the full adult price. Day 2
Sabi Sand Game Reserve
Wake up before dawn for the morning game drive, starting at sunrise. Savour a hot coffee and an early-morning snack before boarding the safari vehicle and departing the lodge in search of animals. Spend 3 hours traversing the bush and looking out for wildlife before they retreat to the shelter of a tree in the heat of the day. After returning to the lodge for a delectable hot breakfast, you’ll have time to relax and unwind, surrounded by serene African wilderness. Lounge at the pool, delve into a captivating book, have a blissful nap, or simply soak up the sights, sounds and scents of nature. Bush walks are on offer for an additional fee. Afternoon tea is served before your next game drive, departing around 3:30 - 4:30 PM, depending on the time of year. Enjoy a sundowner stop in the bush. Dinner is served before you settle in for the night to the symphony of the wild. Sabi Sand Game Reserve to Nelspruit
After your last morning game drive and breakfast in the bush (time permitting), you will be transferred back to Nelspruit Airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
