Day 1
Arrival in Hoedspruit and Panorama Route
You board your shuttle early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive through 3 provinces of our beautiful country. Meet your private Khalanga Safaris guide along the way, and enjoy seeing some of the scenic sights of the Northern Drakensberg Mountains. Later we check in at your lodge, where you have a dinner deliciously prepared by your host before retiring to your room for a restful night's sleep. Day 2
Safari
We get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger safari. We spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species, including, but not limited to, the Big 5. The dedicated and professional field guide will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals are most frequently seen to maximize animal viewing opportunities. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for the different animal species that live there. Later in the morning, we stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where you can enjoy the breakfast prepared for you by the lodge. For lunch, we stop at one of the rest camps (at your own cost). We continue our safari for the afternoon. All game drives are conducted on an open safari vehicle that gives you a perfect vantage point of viewing and photographing animals from their best angle, high over the bushes and grasses. Day 3
Safari
You get to enjoy another day in Kruger National Park with a professional nature guide. You will spend the last your night at a resort-style village in Kruger National Park in thatched twin or three bed bungalows with private bathroom. Additional (shared) activities are available and organized by park rangers (bush walk, night drive). Only one dinner included of which will be a special braai prepared by your guide on your final night in the Kruger National Park to celebrate your stay. All other meals will be for your own account at the restaurant on-site, where credit cards are accepted. If you prefer something more personalized, we can also arrange a private chef at an additional cost to prepare meals for you for the 2 nights in Kruger National Park. Last morning game drive and return to Johannesburg
You check out after an early breakfast and we take you on your last morning safari before returning to the shuttle departure location. The shuttle arrives at OR Tambo at around 18:00. Meals at own expense Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

A dream week in South Africa with Khalanga
My husband and I had an incredible week traveling around Kruger with Prince and a really lovely experience coordinating and booking the experience with Thamia. We did the 6-Day Safari with Night Drive, River Safari, and Panorama Route Tour in May 2025. The Panorama Route Tour was a gorgeous way to spend the last parts of our drive from Johannesburg and get to know Prince before spending the week together. Prince was an incredible guide with a TON of knowledge that he was always willing to share with us. We got to see the Big 5 and Prince was very patient in helping us try to spot the elusive rhino. I would highly recommend Khalanga and Prince for your Kruger safari.

Wonderful experience with an exceptional guide
We had a wonderful experience with Khalanga. We did the panorama route (breathtaking) with 3 days in Kruger National Park. Shoes was our guide and he was exceptional. He has an incredibly unique perspective as his family lived on the land that is now Kruger National Park for many generations and lived with the animals. He intimately knows animals, their behaviours, tracks, calls (including being able to mimic bird calls), you name it. He is passionate, informative and a joy to spend time with. We felt privileged to be able to see the park through Shoes's incredibly unique perspective. Khalanga safaris is the way to go. You will have an incredible experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights/6day Kruger safari with Shoes at Khalanga Safaris. Pre trip communication was excellent and the accommodation,food and guided drives were top quality. Shoe’s knowledge of the park and its numerous inhabitants is most impressive and his description of animal behaviours was wonderful. We were a party of 3 adults all with experience of African safaris in the past and agreed that Shoes and Khalanga was the perfect match for us. Would recommend for an authentic Kruger Safari experience.
