Safari Begins in Madikwe Game Reserve
Set within the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve of the Northwest Province of South Africa, the Impodimo Game Lodge is located on a ridge, and each room has a private deck on which you can enjoy striking views of the African bush. The reserve covers an area of 75,000 hectares and is on the border of Botswana. Touch down at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, where you will be welcomed by a representative ready to accompany you to the light aircraft flight for your onward flight to Madikwe. Your adventure begins on arrival at Madikwe Airstrip, where you will be transferred to your base for the next 3 nights. The Lodge is home to the famous Big 5 as well as the Painted Wolf (African Wild Dogs), Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, a variety of large mammals, and birdlife. All of which can be observed on your morning and evening game drives, on guided bush walks, or from the comfort of the lodge elephant hide. Game Drives Galore
You'll experience the thrill of seeing Africa's famous Big Five, along with the elusive painted wolf (African wild dogs), cheetahs, brown and spotted hyenas, and a variety of other large mammals and birdlife. Morning and Evening Game Drives: You'll embark on safari adventures twice a day to maximize your wildlife sightings. Guided Bush Walks: You'll explore the beauty of the African bush on foot with experienced guides. Lodge Elephant Hide: You'll relax and observe the wildlife from the comfort of the lodge's elephant hide, a perfect spot for birdwatching and capturing stunning photos. From the excitement of spotting elusive predators to the peacefulness of birdwatching. It's a chance to connect with nature in a way that suits your interests. Departure
You'll begin your day with an invigorating morning game drive, capturing the last glimpses of Madikwe's spectacular wildlife. Afterward, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge as you reflect on the incredible experiences of your stay. Then, you'll head to Madikwe Airstrip for your return journey.
