You will then venture to Sossusvlei, the ancient “end of the water”, and Dead Vlei, where eerie 1,000-year-old camelthorn trees stand against a backdrop of 300m-high dunes. Conquer giants like Big Daddy or Dune 45 for panoramic views, or explore the Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River over millions of years. Pass through Bullspoort and Rehoboth, arriving in Windhoek by mid-afternoon. Drop-off at your chosen accommodation awaits—perfect for those with flights after 19:00. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
