Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International airport, you will be met by our Herbivore African Expeditions representative and transferred to your hotel ready to start your safari. Head to Tarangire National park today, the place where life began, according to masai legend. Here is a home to African elephants, you likely to see big herds of elephants lounging under baobab trees or elephant cooling off at the watering hole. This morning you can enjoy a short game drive in Tarangire before heading to one of the most famous game park in Africa, Serengeti National park. A spectacular finale awaits as you journey from the sweeping plains of Serengeti National Park at dawn to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending to the crater rim for a stunning first glimpse into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Descend into this natural amphitheater for an extraordinary game drive, where dense wildlife—including the Big Five and the rare black rhino—thrives in one of Africa’s most remarkable ecosystems, followed by a scenic picnic lunch near a hippo pool.
