5.0/5I booked my trip to Rwanda’s Twin Lakes and Mount Bisoke with Makisala Safaris, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The team helped me plan everything seamlessly, from transport to permits. So I could just focus on enjoying the adventure. The Twin Lakes were absolutely stunning, and hiking Mount Bisoke was challenging but so rewarding, especially reaching the crater lake at the top. My guide was knowledgeable, encouraging, and made the whole day feel safe and well-organized. I left Musanze with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for Rwanda’s natural beauty. Highly recommend Makisala Safaris for anyone looking to explore this side of Rwanda!

I was volunteering in Arusha for a few weeks and decided to take a short 3-day safari with Makisala Safaris to Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park. Everything was arranged so smoothly that I didn’t have to worry about a thing, transfers, park fees, meals, and accommodation were all handled. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out wildlife I would never have spotted on my own. Seeing elephants up close in Tarangire and the tree-climbing lions of Manyara was just magical. I loved how Makisala Safaris built a quick yet unforgettable trip that fit perfectly into my volunteering schedule. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a short but amazing safari while staying in Arusha.

I travelled with Makisala Safaris this September and visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Serengeti. Everything was so well-organized from start to finish; our guide met us on time every day and handled every detail, so all we had to do was enjoy the parks. Tarangire impressed me with its huge herds of elephants, Lake Manyara was full of birdlife and those famous tree-climbing lions, and then the Serengeti was simply breathtaking with endless plains and incredible wildlife sightings. The accommodations were comfortable and perfectly chosen, and our driver-guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience fun. I highly recommend Makisala Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, they made my journey smooth, exciting and truly unforgettable.

I had such a great time with Makisala Safaris during my trip to Dar and Zanzibar this August. From the start, their communication made everything so easy. I always felt updated and taken care of. The whole experience was smooth, reliable, and honestly such good value for money. What I loved most was how well everything was organized, which let me just enjoy the trip without stress. Zanzibar was definitely the highlight for me, and the way the team planned it made it really special. I’d happily recommend Makisala Safaris to anyone, they made my trip both fun and memorable.
