Your safari begins with a warm pick-up from your Kigali hotel, followed by a scenic cross-border drive to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You'll enjoy stunning countryside views as you travel through rolling hills and quiet villages. The trek is thrilling, offering rich jungle sounds and beautiful scenery along the way. When you find the gorillas, you'll enjoy a magical hour watching them feed, groom, and interact in their natural habitat. After the trek, you'll return to your lodge for lunch and well-deserved rest. Later in the afternoon, you'll visit the Batwa tribal community to experience their traditional dances, ancient forest survival skills, and storytelling, giving you a deep cultural connection to the original inhabitants of Bwindi. Day 3
After an early breakfast, you'll depart Bwindi and enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills of Kigezi and the open plains of Ishasha as you head toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park features sweeping savannahs, volcanic crater lakes, lush wetlands, and rich birdlife, making it a top African adventure spot. On arrival, you'll proceed for a relaxing boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, a hotspot for wildlife. You'll watch hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a wide variety of water birds along the riverbanks. After the cruise, you'll continue with an evening game drive across the Kasenyi plains, where you may spot lions, antelopes, warthogs, and other savannah wildlife as the sun sets over the park. Later, you'll drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Budget lodge bordering Queen Elizabeth NP without fences All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

After the game drive, you'll visit the salt-making community. Thereafter, you'll proceed to the lodge for an early hot lunch. After lunch, you'll head to Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu forest for an afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience. You'll descend into the lush forested valley and follow your ranger guide as you search for the playful chimpanzee families. Once found, you'll enjoy observing their energetic movements, calls, and social interactions. I booked a 3 day, 2 night gorilla trekking tour and it was an incredible experience! Michael was great at getting back to me with all the information; driver was knowledgeable & pleasant. Gorilla trekking experience was bucket list status! The island on a lake I stayed at after trekking was peaceful with nature walks around the island. I'd highly recommend.

I had a truly wonderful 21 day safari with Bugoli Adventures. It was a last minute decision to visit Uganda and Rwanda. Without much preparation time, the booking process was still very personal. Michael has put together the perfect itinerary taking into account my preferences: a mix of different wildlife and cultural experiences as well as some hiking activities. My safari then started at the airport in Entebbe, where I was picked up by Michael and my guide Silver. Silver was absolutely great: As a very experienced driver, he knew all the best routes and made my trip safe and comfortable. In addition, he has eagle eyes and could spot wildlife from a great distance. So I saw all the Big Five and collected a lot of amazing photos. My personal wildlife highlight of the trip was definitely visiting the gorillas in Bwindi. As a solo traveler, I opted for budget accommodations to cut down on my expenses. However, the accommodations selected by Michael really exceeded my expectations: the rooms were spacious and clean, mostly with a great view. Ideal for relaxing after a long day of driving. The 3 course meals at their restaurants were delicious. The meals were carefully selected in personal consultation with their chef. In closing, I would like to highly recommend Bugoli Adventures to help you create an unforgettable safari experience.

We had an unforgettable experience with Bugoli Adventures and would not hesitate to book with them again. The booking process was very personal, we spoke a lot with Michael and Reward beforehand to create the perfect itinerary for us, so from the beginning we could feel the passion within this company. We had previously organised our first 2 nights in Uganda separately, but Michael and Reward still met us in Kabale and drove us there, helping us to organise simcards and cash on the way. Our safari then started when we met our guide Silver, a man with a heart of gold. His knowledge is unbelievable and he looked after us so well, making sure everything was perfect during our time with him. We opted for a budget safari, but some of the accommodations really exceeded our expectations, especially in the national parks. We were in contact with Michael and Reward the whole way, sharing our experiences and we feel like we have gained not only great memories from our trip, but great friends too. I would 100% recommend Bugoli Adventures to anyone looking for an unforgettable Ugandan Safari, you will love it!
