Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Early in the morning, our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport, provide a briefing. Then, you'll transfer you to Kibale National Park, which typically involves a scenic drive of 6 hours through Uganda's beautiful landscapes, followed by a chimpanzee trekking experience in the lush Kibale forest. Upon arrival, you'll check into your accommodation and enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon/evening nature walk. Later, you’ll retire back to the lodge for dinner and evening relaxation as you prepare for the next day's activities. Day 2
After an early breakfast, you'll head to Kibale National Park headquarters for a ranger briefing on the dos and don'ts while trekking with the chimpanzees. After the briefing, you will be led into the forest. Kibale National Park in Uganda is renowned for its high chimpanzee population and habituation experiences. The chimpanzee groups are highly vocal. It’s often possible to hear their calls from a mile away. Trekking with the chimpanzees usually takes between three to five hours. You are allowed to spend only one hour observing them, so make the most of that time to take as many photos as possible. Afterward, you'll head back to the lodge to check out (you can choose to have lunch there or en route) and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a bit of game drive through Ishasha sector with chances of spotting tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. You'll arrive in the evening, check into your accommodation for dinner and evening relaxation. Mid-range lodge located just outside Bwindi Impenetrable NP (Gorillas) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the ranger’s post for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park feels like stepping into a lost world, unchanged for millennia. The journey is not easy through the thick vegetation, but the sounds of a gorilla family breaking branches ahead will quicken your pulse. As you follow the trackers, the moment will come when you finally set eyes on one of our closest relatives, and all your fatigue will vanish. You will be allowed to stay with the gorillas for one hour before returning to the lodge to check out. You will then head to Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Switzerland of Africa" and famous for its lush, terraced hills, 29 islands (each with its own unique story), and over 200 bird species. You will check into your lodge and later enjoy a canoe ride before returning for dinner and relaxation. Mid-range hotel located at Lake Bunyonyi All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
After a delicious, relaxing breakfast, you will check out of your accommodations and begin the return journey to Entebbe, arriving in the evening in time for your flight. Along the way, you'll take some time to stop for photo opportunities and browse the various crafts for sale. Your driver will drop you off at the international airport for your onward travel. As you bid farewell to Uganda, your plane will ascend over the beautiful scenery of Lake Victoria, and you will reflect on the unforgettable moments of your adventure, especially gazing into the brown eyes of a mountain gorilla. We are grateful to have taken you on this unforgettable safari and look forward to seeing you again or welcoming any referrals on your next visit.
