Wenchi Crater Lake
Morning departure from Addis Ababa after breakfast. The drive takes you through the beautiful Ethiopian highlands, passing traditional villages, farmland, and scenic mountain landscapes on the way to Wenchi Crater Lake. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing walk around the crater with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Optional activities include: Boat ride across Lake Wenchi Visit to the historic monastery located on the island Short hike around the crater rim and surrounding hills Lunch will be served near the lake, surrounded by peaceful nature and fresh mountain air. In the afternoon, you can relax, explore the local area, or enjoy the quiet environment of the crater. Overnight: Wenchi Eco Lodge by Ethiopian Skylight. Awash National Park
This tour takes you to two beautiful natural destinations near Addis Ababa. First, visit the stunning Wenchi Crater Lake, located in the Ethiopian highlands, where you can enjoy scenic views, walking around the crater, and an optional boat ride to the monastery on the island. The journey then continues to Awash National Park, known for its wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Enjoy game drives to see animals such as oryx, gazelles, baboons, and many bird species, and visit the impressive Awash Waterfalls. Awash National Park
Early morning game drive inside Awash National Park. The park is home to many animals and birds. Wildlife you may see includes: Beisa Oryx Salt’s Dik-dik Gazelles Olive Baboons and Vervet Monkeys Many species of birds Later, visit the beautiful Awash Waterfalls, one of the most scenic places in the park. After lunch and some rest at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon nature walk or relax while watching wildlife around the lodge area. After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive or a relaxed morning at the lodge. Late in the morning, begin the drive back to Addis Ababa. Lovely Short trip!
