Arusha to Tarangire
Your safari begins at 8:00 AM as you leave Arusha behind and drive into the heart of the wilderness. Tarangire welcomes you with sweeping savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and some of the largest elephant herds in Tanzania. The day unfolds slowly and beautifully as you follow dusty tracks in search of lions, giraffes, zebras, and graceful antelopes. You pause for a picnic lunch surrounded by the sounds of nature: the rustling grass, the distant call of birds, and the rumble of elephants wandering nearby. As daylight softens, Tarangire bathes in warm golden tones, offering an unforgettable first taste of the African bush. Tarangire to Serengeti
After breakfast, you set off toward the legendary Serengeti. The journey is a scenic adventure in itself, carrying you through rolling highlands and along the dramatic rim of the Ngorongoro Crater before descending onto the vast Serengeti plains. With a picnic lunch enjoyed en route, you enter a landscape that seems to stretch into infinity. Your afternoon game drive introduces you to one of the richest wildlife areas on Earth: lions lounging beneath acacia trees, herds of wildebeest grazing calmly, and the endless sky merging with golden grasslands. Serengeti
The Serengeti greets you at sunrise, when the wilderness is at its most enchanting. You spend the entire day exploring its boundless plains, following wildlife as they move through their natural routines. Perhaps you witness a cheetah scanning the horizon, elephants wandering across open valleys, or vast herds shifting in patterns shaped by ancient instincts. A picnic lunch in a remote spot keeps you close to the action, surrounded by the deep stillness of the savannah. Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking in the soft light, cool air, and heightened wildlife activity that comes with dawn. Later, you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro highlands. As you travel, the landscape gradually transforms: golden grasslands give way to rolling hills, forests, and cooler mountain air. The views become wide and dramatic, signaling your approach to one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders. Day 5
Ngorongoro to Arusha
Today is a highlight of the entire safari. At first light, you descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, entering a world unlike any other. Inside this ancient caldera, wildlife thrives in remarkable density: lions resting in the grass, hippos wallowing in freshwater pools, buffalo grazing nearby, and, with luck, the rare and majestic black rhino. The scenery is breathtaking: misty crater walls, open grasslands, shimmering lakes, and forests filled with life. After a peaceful picnic lunch on the crater floor, you ascend to the crater rim and begin your return to Arusha or head to the airport, carrying memories that will stay with you forever. An unforgettable experience
We had the best time with Wildebeest Safari. Noah was really helpful in organising our trip and accommodating to all our requests. We stayed in 3 different camps which were all great. Our two drivers Richard and Dennis were friendly, punctual and drove very responsibly, navigating the traffic and bumpy roads expertly. We felt in great hands at all times and their knowledge of the animals really shone through and their enthusiasm was contagious. Dennis asked us which animals we wanted to see and made every effort to make it possible. He would also check where the sun was to find the best viewing angle for photography, while staying at respectful distance so as not to disturb the wildlife. He even went the extra mile and helped arrange a surprise proposal, finding the perfect spot and making sure the moment was extra special! We are so grateful for our experience and would absolutely recommend Wildebeest to others.

Greatest experience ever
Greatest trip I’ve ever done. The professionalism and hospitality of the team made all the difference. It’s important you have a driver that knows the ins and outs of the Maara - Shedrak was the guy!
