You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Maun to Crocodile Camp
You should arrive at Maun Airport between 12h00 and 14h00, from where you’ll be transferred in an air-conditioned vehicle to Crocodile Camp & Spa. After settling into your Deluxe Room, you can relax by the pool, enjoy a drink at the Croc Rock Bar, or just unwind in your room until 15h45, when it is time for your transfer to Maun Airport for the 45-minute scenic helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta. This excursion includes a gin stop. You will return to the camp by 18h00, in time to enjoy some leisure time before dinner. You can also enjoy a 1-hour complimentary spa treatment at the Marulana Spa. You will overnight at Crocodile Camp & Spa on a dinner, bed, and breakfast basis. Maun to Khwai Saguni Safari Lodge
After breakfast, you will depart for Maun Airport to catch the charter flight to Khwai Airstrip, from where an exciting game drive transfer will take you to Saguni Safari Lodge. Upon arrival, settle in and get ready for an afternoon open-vehicle safari from where you will return in time for dinner. You will overnight at Saguni Safari Lodge on a fully-inclusive basis. Rise early for a morning mokoro trip, where you can glide through serene waters and spot wildlife in the beautiful wetlands. Afterward, return to camp to relax, swim, or unwind until high tea. Following your refreshing break, it’s time for a sunset open-vehicle safari. Enjoy the stunning views and search for wildlife as the sun sets. After an exciting evening, savor a delicious dinner and settle in for a restful night, ready for the adventures that await you tomorrow. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
