07h00: Depart O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg via shared shuttle (a flight or private transfer can be arranged at an additional cost). ±13h00: Arrive at Ivory Moon Safari Lodge for a relaxed check-in. 15h00: Go on an afternoon/sunset game drive (3 hours) in the exclusive Tshukudu Game Reserve. Enjoy the privilege of this low-traffic reserve as the sun sets, followed by a spotlight night drive. Return for a sumptuous dinner at the lodge. Overnight: Ivory Moon Safari Lodge. Kruger Safari
You will depart early for a full-day safari into the original Kruger National Park via Orpen Gate. Explore the highly productive Orpen-Satara area, widely regarded as one of the best lion conservation regions in Africa, with excellent chances of seeing lion prides, leopards, elephants, and the other members of the Big 5. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park (own account), and return to the lodge in the late afternoon, where you will have dinner. Overnight: Ivory Moon Safari Lodge. Camping Safari Starts
06h00: Sunrise game drive (until ±09h00) in Tshukudu. Watch the bush come alive in golden light, then return for a delicious breakfast. ±10h00: Check out and proceed on a scenic transfer to Ndzhaka Tented Camp in Manyeleti Game Reserve (±1-hour to entrance and 30–45 minutes through the reserve. Enjoy a hearty lunch on arrival and relax on your private deck at the waterhole. 16h00: Sunset/night game drive night drive (3 hours) in Manyeleti. Spot iconic Big Five wildlife as the sun rises over the savannah. 09h00: Return to camp for a delicious bush breakfast served in the heart of the bush, followed by leisure time to relax, unwind, or enjoy the camp facilities. 16h00: Embark on an exciting sunset game drive combined with a night drive (3 hours). Witness the golden African sunset while tracking animals, then continue after dark with spotlights to discover the fascinating nocturnal wildlife. End your adventure-filled day with a hearty dinner and overnight stay. Overnight: Ndzhaka Tented Camp. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
