You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
OR Tambo to Sabi Sand
You will leave on your Kruger and Sabi Sand safari from Johannesburg. Pick-up only at OR Tambo Airport (ORT) or accommodations in a 10km radius around ORT. Your pick-up is early at around 7 am. A 6 to 7-hour drive will amaze you when entering the scenic Lowveld. You can be picked up and dropped off from Skukuza (nearest) before 12:00 pm or MQP/KMIA around 11:00 a.m. Lunch can be arranged. You will go out on an afternoon-to-night game drive (in an open-air safari vehicle) in Sabi Sand after settling into your en-suite room just outside Shaw's gate of Sabi Sand. This game drive will showcase spectacular African wildlife at night. (Children under 6 years of age are not permitted on open vehicle drives). A three-course dinner that meets your dietary requirements is served after the thrilling sunset drive, in the outdoor boma under the stars (where a campfire awaits), or in the dining area. Day 2
Kruger Park and Sabi Sand activities
You will kick the day off early morning with tea or coffee with finger snacks, before departing on the open-air morning drive in Sabi Sand, where you will be viewing wild animals and be in search of the Big Five. When you return from the morning drive, full hot and cold breakfast will be served. A safari walk can be done in Sabi Sand (included). Weather dependent. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the bar, lounge, swim, nap in your air-conditioned tent, or walk around the grounds at the luxury-tented camp. You will go on an exciting afternoon game drive in an open-sided car within Kruger Park, where you are welcome to ask the game rangers questions, about Kruger’s wildlife and plants (included). When you return to the camp for a tasty three-course dinner around the campfire, stories about different species can be shared, relaxing under the night sky while listening to the amazing sounds of animals. Day 3
Kruger National Park activities

When you return from the morning drive, full hot and cold breakfast will be served. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the bar, lounge, swim, nap in your air-conditioned tent, or walk around the grounds at the luxury-tented camp. You will go on an exciting afternoon game drive in an open-sided car within Kruger Park, where you are welcome to ask the game rangers questions, about Kruger’s wildlife and plants (included). Day 5
Kruger National Park to OR Tambo
Once again, you will kick the day off early morning with tea or coffee before departing on the morning game drive in Kruger, where you will be given in-depth knowledge of the bush by an experienced game ranger. Kruger Park is renowned for its outstanding leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and rhino sightings. You are often able to get close to the wildlife, where you can take excellent photographs. When you return from the morning game drive, a full hot and cold breakfast will be served. After breakfast, you'll depart back to OR Tambo or one of the nearby airports in the area. We advise you to book the safari before flights and to book overnight accommodation in Johannesburg before and after the safari if possible to ease the logistical requirements of international flights. Many accommodations in Johannesburg include free airport transfers. MQP flights need to depart after 13:30 pm and Skukuza flights after 12:00 pm preferably.
