Day 1
Arrival, pick up and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today you will be picked up from Entebbe airport this morning. Start your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. The journey will take you 6-7 hours. Arrive at your accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening and check-in for dinner. Day 2
Morning game drive and afternoon boat ride
Early in the morning, you will set off for a Queen Elizabeth National Park game drive. This activity allows you to search for lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck, and many animals and birds. In the afternoon you will enjoy the unique 2 hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Day 3
Chimp tracking in Kalinzu forest and drive to Bwindi
After an early breakfast, you will take a 1-hour drive to Kalinzu Forest Reserve where you will be briefed and allocated into groups for Chimpanzee tracking experience. You shall trek with ranger guides in the forest searching for chimpanzees. Upon finding them, you will have one hour to observe, follow and photograph them. Upon completion, you will start your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will arrive at your lodge in the evening and check-in at your accommodation. Day 4
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Begin your gorilla trek in the early morning, and set off into the forests with guides and trackers who are very experienced at locating the gorillas. The experienced ranger guides will willingly share with you a lot of information about history and lifestyle of the Gorillas. After spending an hour with the gorillas, you will return to the lodge. In the evening, you may take an optional community tour around Bwindi.
