Day 1
You will be collected between 08:30 and 09:00 from your accommodation in Windhoek this morning, as we will have a relatively long transit today on route to the Sesriem area. We will travel via the Namib Naukluft Mountains, known for their interesting and ancient geological history. Transitioning from the Namibian central plateau by way of the beautiful Spreetshoogte Mountain Pass, we reach the vast beautiful open plains before our final stop in the small settlement of Solitaire. Here, the travellers will have a chance to stretch their legs and enjoy sweet and savoury treats at McGregors Bakery. We hit the road for our final stretch from Solitaire to our lodge in the Namib Naukluft National Park. It is here that a local field guide will familiarize you with the incredible Namib Desert, before a lovely dinner at our lodge. Mid-range lodge located outside Namib-Naukluft NP (Namib Desert) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
An early start is required today in order for us to catch the soft light of the sunrise over the divine Namib-Naukluft Mountains towards the east. Our first stop will be the famous Dune 45, which we will have the option of climbing, as the views of this remarkable landscape are even more mesmerizing from the dune summits. We will spend most of our time around the Deadvlei area, famed for and characterized by the dark, dead camelthorn trees contrasted against the white pan floor. Here is where our guests will also have the option of climbing the "Big Daddy" dune, and enjoy a nature hike/walk. We head back to the Sesriem Canyon before lunch at the Sossusvlei Lodge, after which we head back to our lodge. Dinner and organizational matters will follow afterwards. Mid-range lodge located outside Namib-Naukluft NP (Namib Desert) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
We depart from Sesriem early this morning, maybe even catching a delightful sunrise during our breakfast. On our way to Swakopmund, we briefly stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for some memorable photographs, then continue on to the two geologically unique mountain passes: Gaub and Kuiseb. Upon arrival in Swakopmund, we will have some time for lunch and thereafter a chance to explore the monuments of this historical city, as well as the Swakopmund Museum via a short walking tour. In the late afternoon, you will have time to relax at the beach and then head out to discover an assortment of cuisines which Swakopmund has to offer when we go for a seaside dinner. Mid-range hotel located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
We have booked a Dolphin Cruise on the catamaran for you this morning after an early breakfast at 07:00. You will be collected and head out to Walvis Bay at 08:00 for your dolphin tour, where you will be able to see and learn about the dolphins, Cape fur seals, the Namibian oyster farming industry and marine life of the Namibian Atlantic Ocean. This afternoon, you are free to explore the sights and sounds of the city on your own, and have a chance to do some shopping at one or more of the curio shops here. This will also be a great opportunity for you to visit the craft market and perhaps pick up some souvenirs for family and friends back home. Other optional activities on offer here in Swakopmund and the desert include quad-biking in the dunes, sandboarding, paragliding, camel riding or skydiving, which might not be for the faint-hearted. We end the day with another lovely seaside dinner. Mid-range hotel located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
We do not start for Windhoek until late morning, so we will visit the local craft market, giving you an opportunity to grab a special gift to spoil your family and friends when you go back home. We will be back in Windhoek in the late afternoon after a brief stopover in Okahandja, which houses the largest craft market in Namibia. Expect a late afternoon arrival in Windhoek, just in time to catch another sunset from your favourite spot in the capital. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Good communication leading up to travel and the trip was certainly something that exceeded my expectations! The whole area is stunningly beautiful, and Scobie was a very knowledgeable guide and willing to answer all my questions throughout the journey (I had a lot). Lots of stops on the way to view wildlife and enjoy the landscapes. Climbing Big Daddy early in the morning was certainly a highlight and well worth it! Reuben is an excellent cook, and I was very happy with the camping experience.
