Nairobi-Tsavo East National Park
Depart Nairobi early in the morning for a scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park, known for its vast, open savannahs and large herds of elephants. Arriving by midday, check-in and enjoy a delicious lunch at your camp of accommodation before setting out for an afternoon game drive. Encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife as you explore the park's diverse landscapes. Overnight at a luxury safari tented camp, experiencing the sounds of the wild at night. Game Drive and Wildlife Viewing Tsavo East
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a full day of game viewing across Tsavo East. Visit the famous Aruba Dam, a gathering point for animals, and explore the Yatta Plateau, one of the longest lava flows in the world. The park is also home to the “Red Elephants,” whose dusty coats provide a unique photographic opportunity. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue your game drives throughout the day. After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and head towards Tsavo West National Park. Upon arrival, visit the Mzima Springs, a series of crystal-clear freshwater springs that attract hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. Enjoy a nature walk around the springs, learning about the ecosystem. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive in search of the park’s diverse wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, and cheetahs.
