Day 1
Fly Addis Ababa to Gondar and Transfer to Simien National Park
You'll have an early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Gondar. Upon arrival in Gondar, your guide and driver will greet you and transfer you to Debark, the gateway to Simien Mountains National Park (approx. 2–3 hours drive). After securing permits and meeting your local guide and scouts, you'll continue into the park toward Sankaber, enjoying your first scenic views of Ethiopia’s dramatic highlands along the way. Depending on arrival time, you'll take a short acclimatization hike along the escarpment to spot Gelada baboons, klipspringers, and soaring lammergeiers. You'll settle into the lodge or campsite and prepare for your high-altitude adventure. Overnight stay camping. Inside Simien Mountains NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 2
Trekking from Sankaber to Geech Camp
After breakfast, you'll begin your trek through giant lobelia forests and dramatic cliffside trails. Today’s hike takes around 5–6 hours and includes stunning views of the Geech Abyss and Jinbar Waterfall, which plunges hundreds of meters into the valley below. The trail is rich with endemic wildlife and birds. You'll arrive at Geech Camp, a peaceful spot set among alpine meadows with incredible sunset views over the Simien escarpments. Day 3
Trek Back to Sankaber and Drive Gondar
You'll begin your return trek via a slightly different route to Sankaber (or an arranged pickup point). Along the way, look for: Walia ibex, Ethiopia’s endangered mountain goat, and More Geladas and highland birds, and local flora such as giant lobelia and evergreens. You'll reach the park exit or pickup point by early afternoon. You'll drive back to Debark for lunch and rest. You'll arrive in Gondar by 5:00 PM. Your overnight stay will be at AG Hotel. Fly Gondar to Addis Ababa – Drive to Awash National Park
You'll depart early morning from Gondar, take a short domestic flight from Gondar to Addis Ababa, and then drive east toward Awash National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). Upon arrival, you'll settle into your lodge, located near the Awash River and its impressive waterfall. If time permits, you'll enjoy a short walk around the area to spot olive baboons, vervet monkeys, and birdlife along the riverbanks. Your overnight stay will be at Genet Hotel Awash. Game Drive and Hot Springs in Awash National Park
You'll begin the day with an early morning game drive across the savanna plains of Awash National Park. This unique dry ecosystem supports wildlife such as beisa oryx, Soemmerring's gazelles, lesser kudu, wart hogs, and more than 450 bird species, including the endemic Abyssinian ground hornbill and secretary bird. You'll visit the Filwoha Hot Springs, nestled among palm groves in the park’s northeastern corner. You'll take a dip in the warm, turquoise pools, a natural spa in the wilderness. On your way back, you'll enjoy a sundowner at the Awash River gorge. Your overnight stay will be at Awash. Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, you'll enjoy some final souvenir shopping or a cultural dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant before your transfer to the airport for your departure.
