Day 1
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 am and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation. There is a possibility to downgrade or upgrade your accommodation level. Day 2
Enjoy a beautiful short journey across the Great Rift Valley until Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq. miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge number of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that can not be described in words. The game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake (and its flamingos) in the background. During this day, some extra tours are possible, including a bike tour or a boat excursion. In the afternoon, transfer to the camp for dinner. There is a possibility to downgrade or upgrade your accommodation level. Luxury lodge located on the escarpment above Lake Manyara NP All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 3
After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in Swahili, 'endless plains'. The park has 6,900 sq miles and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home to the great migration and 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. As for big cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park. There is a possibility to downgrade or upgrade your accommodation level. Luxury lodge located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 4
You'll have a full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including for the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, then finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could do a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. There is a possibility to downgrade or upgrade your accommodation level. Luxury lodge located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 5
On this day, we suggest a very early wake-up call in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. After the game drive, we'll return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark. It inhabits almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner. There is a possibility to downgrade or upgrade your accommodation level. Luxury tented camp located on the crater rim of Ngorongoro Crater All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 6
We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. We expect to be back in Arusha at around 5 pm, although, we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another situation. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5We were genuinely happy to have loved our experience with Soul of Tanzania. Congratulations to the excellent, competent, and always helpful guides, and for the excellent organization of the trip. Your guides have a feeling and an eye for spotting an animal from a long distance. FANTASTIC. They know how to create a very friendly atmosphere with the client. It's a good thing we went during the "off-season," because at one point there were almost 50 jeeps "on top" of one animal. The staff, as well as the service at the accommodations, was always impeccable. It's good to feel that our money was well spent on this trip, which will certainly remain in our memories forever. This victory is something no one can take away from you or from us. Our children and grandchildren say they want to come on the next safari too. Thank you very much.

We just finished a five full-day tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. Our guide was Julieth and things couldn’t have been better: great weather, so many animals, and the best guide ever. We had so many amazing experiences that were driven by Julieth’s experience and knowledge. We learned a ton, took hundreds of pictures of animals, and made memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. The only thing we would add is that late January is the perfect time due to all of the animal babies and fewer tourists. Thank you Soul of Tanzania and especially Julieth!

We had an amazing experience!! We did the 8 day Tanzania tour. We spent time at Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Eyasi. We had Sammy (Samwel) as our guide. He was the best!!! Funny, kind, informative and helpful in every way. We felt like family. We asked to change our last day at the last minute and he drove us around Arusha and we got to see where he grew up and MT Kilimanjaro in the distance. He was great at spotting animals and we saw the big 5!!! We still yell “Buuuuusshhh Chickens” to this day. Only thing I’d change is skip Lake Eyasi and spend another day in the crater.

Glorious 3 week holiday in Zanzibar and Northern Tanzania! After not a few forays into East Africa this was the winner ... and all thanks to the people behind the scenes helping us plan like Manuel ... and the driver who rules them all ... JAMES KAAYA!!! The variety of places we wanted to go and the experiences we hoped to have all came to life seamlessly, safely and was nothing short of good times with plenty of laughs! The historic walks through the sites of Zanzibar, the water activities of the ephemeral Indian Ocean, and trek through the monkey-filled forests were a solid introduction to the country. However the Star of the Show was the safari adventures with James at the wheel! He possessed an uncanny ability to spot animals from far and near, to make predictions where animals would be when all the other drivers seemed to be clustered in the wrong spots and to get us within what seemed like touching distance of each and every animal of the National Parks and Conservation Areas! We easily ticked every box of our hit list. Lions exceeded 100, cheetahs and leopards by the dozen, gnus in the thousands. James seemed to know people in every park, hamlet, and nondescript backroad we traversed endlessly both giving and receiving tips on where the hot spots were that day. We passed not a few breakdowns, drivers and despondent looking tourists stuck in muddy ravines and wheels spinning along lakeshores, but our James navigated these obstacles effortlessly, patiently and always kept us safe! Not only did he never get lost but on several other occasions helped other drivers find their accomadations! He seemed to have a built-in GPS! We really felt like we won the Driver Lottery this time! Well played Mr James Kaaya! And thank you Unlimited Expeditions - Soul of Tanzania! We shall return!
