Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After a safari briefing, you'll depart from your Arusha hotel and drive 130 km on a tarmac road to Lake Manyara National Park. The park features a beautiful soda lake, lush groundwater forest, hot springs, and stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. You'll enjoy wildlife viewing, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, baboons, flamingos, and many bird species. After a picnic lunch, you will continue with an afternoon game drive, then head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highland farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll descend from the highlands into the vast Serengeti plains, where endless grasslands stretch to the horizon. You'll continue to the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera area, one of the park’s most wildlife-rich regions. The Seronera River attracts a wide variety of animals, offering excellent game-viewing opportunities. You'll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. You'll set out on an early morning game drive through the central Serengeti, home to abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, and large herds of plains game. You'll visit the Serengeti Visitor Center for informative wildlife displays, then enjoy an afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the Seronera region. After checking out, you will continue with an exciting game drive while en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll arrive at Marera Valley in time for check-in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. Just came back from an amazing 3 day safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro national park. Our guide Felix was very knowledgeable about both flora and fauna within the parks. He answered all our questions and also told us many interesting stories throughout the day and during our meal breaks. He was accompanied by Jeremiah, our group's cook.
