Today we will spend most of the day searching for animals, as we make our way through the game reserve towards Namutoni, our next rest camp. We will visit a number of waterholes and stop to view the Etosha Pan, also known as the “place of dry water”. This extensive, flat depression is about 5,000sq km and is a place of shimmering mirages. Seeing large herds of game in this setting is a unique experience. We may stop at Halali (the middle camp) to have lunch before we continue on to Namutoni. At Namutoni, we will be able to relax at the swimming pool or waterhole before a late afternoon game drive. The game viewing here is usually excellent, with close-up views of springboks, zebras, impalas, giraffes, gemsboks and plenty of birds. We may also see elephants and lions. In the evening, we can enjoy a glass of wine and fabulous sunset from the tower of the old Namibian German fort before dinner. Sandwich Harbour - 6 hours of wonder

We decided that it would be worthwhile doing a 6 hour (rather than a conventional 4 hour) trip, and were really glad we did. People Tours and Safaris were great at communication and setting everything up, and our driver Hans was awesome. He was really knowledgeable about the landscape. And as the day passed on, we saw people coming up for 4 x hour adventures and laughed knowing we’d made the most of our time and didn’t feel rushed. The trip included a great lunch of some Namibian oysters, a platter along with booze incl sparkling wine. And we stopped at plenty of cool points. Highlights included seeing Whales in the bay, some other pretty cool wildlife (Jackals, Seals, Springboks and more) along with going up and down the dunes and getting some epic pictures. Great tour company - more boutique and chill that the big groups.

Best price, best service and excellent food

The guide Jason was great and very informative. I called over phone for sunset dune trip and they came to pick up at hotel also collected credit card payment in the car. Very convenient. The car was just for us, not a group but the price was the best after all my research. Very reliable and waited for us when we were taking pictures.
