Your safari adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi. The drive takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with stops for panoramic views before arriving at the Maasai Mara. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch before heading out to explore the reserve. The Mara is one of Africa’s most celebrated destinations, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Spend the day immersed in the wonders of the Maasai Mara, where the rolling plains and acacia-dotted landscapes provide the perfect setting for unforgettable wildlife encounters. With a picnic lunch packed, you will explore different areas of the reserve, searching for the Big Five and other species such as cheetahs, wildebeest, and hippos along the Mara River. Each drive offers new sightings and experiences, ensuring a day filled with adventure and discovery. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a Maasai village at an extra cost, where you will learn about the traditions, dances, and way of life of the Maasai people. Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and depart the Maasai Mara, heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes you through scenic countryside and farmlands, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Nakuru, a park famous for its birdlife, particularly flamingos and pelicans that gather along the lake’s shores. The park is also home to endangered black and white rhinos, as well as lions, leopards, and buffalo. The contrasting landscapes of woodlands, grasslands, and rocky escarpments make Nakuru a photographer’s delight.
