This 6-Day Uganda Safari is designed for travelers who have a few days for a safari but would like to do more activities. This tour can start in Kigali and end in Entebbe, and vice versa. You will trek golden monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees in Volcanoes National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and Kibale National Park, respectively. Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Your driver-guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will meet you either at the hotel or the airport in Kigali. After meeting and greeting, you will embark on a journey to Volcanoes National Park. You may pass by the Kigali Genocide Memorial for an insight into Rwanda's past. Day 2
Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day, you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and head to Volcanoes National Park headquarters. You'll undergo a briefing about golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. You'll then head to the forest where you'll find them playing in the tree branches or the potato fields. After an hour, you'll head back to the lodge for lunch and then cross the Rwanda-Uganda border as you head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Day 3
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation
On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast. After that, you'll drive to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You'll then be divided into groups of 8 to track a gorilla family. You'll be led to the forest in search of these gentle giants. After finding them, you'll spend an hour in their presence. Then, you'll return to the starting point to board your vehicle and head to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. The lava-dammed lake is dotted with 29 islands, offering scenic views. Upon arrival, you'll check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an Afternoon Boat Cruise and Evening Game Drive
You'll set off early in the morning and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, where you'll witness the highest concentration of hippos in the world. You'll also see other animals like crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, warthogs, and many others, which come to quench their thirst. You'll relax for a bit and have lunch, after which you'll head to the savannah plains for an evening game drive. You'll see many animals like buffalo, elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, antelopes, leopards, lions, hyenas, and many others, plus several bird species. Day 5
Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale National Park for Chimpanzee Tracking
You'll head out to the savannah plains after breakfast to see more animals, some of which you might have missed to see the day before. You'll then embark on a journey to the Chimpanzee capital, Kibale National Park. You'll have lunch at the park headquarters and then drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. You'll then form groups and head to the forest in search of the chimpanzees. After finding them, you'll spend an hour in their presence and then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 6

On this day, after breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and board your vehicle. You will then embark on a journey to Entebbe or back to Kigali, having lunch en route. Your driver-guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will say goodbye. This will mark the end of the 6-day Volcanoes, Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi, Queen Elizabeth, and Kibale National Park safari. The best and reliable experience I could have ask for.
This was a great experience coming from United States. Jason was very easy to communicate with and was very fast at emailing back or on what’s app. He made the process too easy. I had a motorcycle accident two days prior and was not sure if I could go on this mountain gorilla trekking, last second I decide I was able to. He came to pick me up on time at 0300, the vehicle was nice, clean and reliable. His English is very good and easy to understand. He had the best price compared to others.

Efficient and worthwhile tour experience
Our tour was a very worthwhile experience, a day trip from Kigali to see the gorillas in Mgahinga National park. The gorillas themselves were amazing, and the tour operator was able to accommodate us on very short notice to make it happen. We had two drivers, Alex who was clearly very experienced and helped with the border crossing, and Benson who was a joy from his genuine enthusiasm and passion of what we were doing
