Into Kicheche Valley- Encounter with a Royal Safari Experience
Depart from Nairobi's Wilson on a scheduled short-haul morning flight to the Masai Mara. Upon landing in this splendid wilderness, your guide will welcome you and lead you across the plains, offering the first wildlife sightings en route to the camp. (Hotel to airport transfer is on us!) After lunch, take some time to relax and take in the surroundings before embarking on an afternoon game drive within the conservancy until sunset. The Best Game Viewing at Naboisho Conservancy- a Hub for Sustainable Tourism
Begin your day with the warmth of fresh coffee or tea delivered to your tent at dawn. Embark on a morning game drive with your guide to witness the wonders of the Naboisho savannah. Naboisho, meaning 'coming together' in the Maa language, represents a thriving community initiative that safeguards the land and wildlife using tourism income. Spanning over 52,000 acres (210 km2) of private land, it is committed to the conservation of wildlife and is known for having the highest giraffe population density within the Maasai Mara ecosystem. Around lunchtime, you will have a picnic lunch. Later, enjoy another game drive in the evening before returning to camp for a delightful dinner. An exclusive Fly Camping Experience West of Naboisho Conservancy
Begin your day with an early morning drive accompanied by a picnic breakfast, returning to camp by mid-morning. After lunch at the camp, your guide will provide a briefing, and at 1400, you will embark on your walk. The journey starts west of Kicheche Valley Naboisho, traversing several stunning valleys and pausing to inspect tracks along the way. The trek, lasting 3 to 4 hours, concludes at your fly camp on the western edge of Naboisho Conservancy. This exclusive wilderness experience is reserved for you. You'll arrive while it's still daylight, allowing time to relax, take a shower, and enjoy a drink as the sun sets. Your Maasai guide will host the evening, featuring a special menu prepared over an open fire. The night will be spent at the Fly Camp. Olare Motorogi to Nairobi by Flight
After a leisurely breakfast in camp, a guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. We'll provide a free airport transfer between Wilson Airport and your hotel/ JKIA if you are outbound the same day. NOTE: The walk will be leisurely with frequent stops at various points of interest. The planned distance is about 10km, which should take 3-4 hours on the first day, and 13km, taking 4-5 hours on the second day.
