Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
You will be collected from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and driven to Sekekama Tented Camp, where you will check into your accommodation at around 14h00. After some time to relax, depart at 15h00 for a 3-hour afternoon sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle in the Blue Canyon Reserve. Return to camp around 19h00 for a boma fire dinner and tranquil night under the stars. Day 2
Kruger National Park Safari
Your days will be filled with game drives in search of the "Big Five" and other animals. They may proceed in one of two ways (according to animal activity at the time). Have an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or have breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later. Your Kruger safari will last about 7 to 8 hours, during which you will venture into the Orpen-Satara area. You will return to the camp with time to unwind and get ready for starlit dinners around the fire. Kruger to Johannesburg
After a satisfying breakfast, it’s time to say your goodbyes and prepare for your return to Johannesburg. You should expect to arrive in the city around 17h00 or 18h00, where you'll check into a hotel for the night. It’s a chance to unwind and reflect on your trip before heading to Victoria Falls in the morning. Johannesburg to Victoria Falls
Today, you board a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls, where you should arrive on time to check in and explore your accommodation at Bayete Guest Lodge. By late afternoon, you will depart on a Zambezi River dinner cruise. You will be picked up to drive to where you board the boat for your dinner cruise that lasts about 3 hours. Enjoy a magical sunset over the Zambezi while having a 3-course meal. After the cruise, you will be dropped off at the lodge again. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
