Day 1
Antananarivo - Diego-Suarez
Early Breakfast at your hotel then transfer to Airport for domestic fly to Diego-Suarez. Arrival and meet to our driver for excursion to the three bays of Diego Suarez. We will start at Mountain of the French. Located a few kilometers from Diego-Suarez, on the road to Ramena, the Mountain of the French is a sanctuary of floral biodiversity in the northern region of the island. Close to the city, it offers an ideal gateway for nature lovers, hikers, and those looking for relaxation. Continuation to three bays, among the sites to be visited: the Sakalava, Pigeons and the Dunes Bay as well as the Ramena beach where you may have the possibility to cross the fishermen villages. Day 2
Antsiranana - Ankarana reserve
Early Breakfast at hotel then drive to Amber Mountain. It is located 40km away from Diego, a volcanic mountain- range which extends from 850 to 1474 meters high. It is covered with thick wet forest, it is concealing several small craters -lakes, hidden by exuberant vegetation, this place is very rich in fauna and flora; the visitors could find several attractions: a wide range of reptiles, botanical fitted out paths, numerous spectacular waterfalls, crater -lakes can be easily observed. After 3hours of visit, drive to Ankarana and stop at Red Tsingy. Red Tsingy is a type of rock formation made of red laterite found in the Diego-Suarez II. Pin nic lunch on the road, arrival in afternoon and overnight at Ankarana Lodge. Visit of ankarana reseve
Breakfast at your hotel. Full day visit inside the national park including the Tsingy rare and Tsingy Benavony, the bat caves and the loss river. Pic nic lunch included. The Ankarana Special Reserve is part of Madagascar's network of protected areas. In addition to its fauna rich in species endemic to the island, this reserve is of geological interest, due to karst erosion, as well as cultural with its sacred lake Mahamasina and a set of Antakarana tombs in the caves. Ankarana - ankify - Nosy be
Breakfast then, transfer to Ankify Port. Stop on the road for visit of Saphire Mines village. Nosy Be ['nusi'be] (in Malagasy: Nosy, island and Be, large; Ambariobe in local dialect) is a coastal island of Madagascar located in the Mozambique Channel, near the northwest coast of Madagascar. It is one of three former French settlements in Madagascar, a settlement that preceded the colonization of the whole of Madagascar by the French government in 1895. Excursion in Sakatia Island
Breakfast then excursion to Sakatia island. Located on the west coast of Nosy be, you will find on the island a preserved, protected and classified ecosystem because of the wonders found there. Postcard beaches, rare birds, endemic plants are there and the locals will not fail to help you discover the island of which they are so proud. Pic nic lunch included. In afternoon, visit to Lokobe reserve: terrestrial National park, Lokobe is one of the rare localities in Madagascar where the original Sambirano forest still exists. The lokobe forest is the only original forest remaining on the island of Nosy-Be. The Eulemur macaco is the flagship species of the Park. The same goes for the coral reef in the Lokobe Marine Park.
