Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your mid-range lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you may encounter large elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife. The park is famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, especially during clear weather. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. Full Game Drive in Amboseli National Park
Begins with an early morning game drive in Amboseli, when wildlife is most active and views of Mount Kilimanjaro are often clear. After breakfast, enjoy a full-day exploration of the park, spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, and diverse birdlife across the open plains and wetlands. A picnic lunch is served in the bush, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to Soroi Amboseli in the evening to relax, enjoy dinner, and unwind under the African sky. After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to Lake Naivasha (approx. 6–7 hours, or optional flight via Nairobi). Arrive in the afternoon and check in at Lake Naivasha lodge. Later, enjoy an optional boat ride on the lake, where you can spot hippos and a variety of birdlife. The tranquil setting provides a relaxing break from game drives. Thanks to Joel, organizing this vacation was a breeze! In Arusha, we had little trouble meeting up with Ombeni, our guide. We continued our safari journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangeri, and finally the Serengeti! Ombeni was incredibly smart and informed about the wildlife; she gave us the freedom to take as many pictures as we needed to preserve these once-in-a-lifetime experiences. He took us to places where we could catch a glimpse of unique occasions and contributed to creating the most fantastic recollections. Easily among my greatest life moments. I will be asking Berngo Safaris for Ombeni when I return to Tanzania with my family!
