Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. Travel south through scenic countryside toward Amboseli National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive, exploring the open plains and swampy areas where elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species are commonly seen. Full Day in Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, the best time to witness wildlife activity and capture stunning photographs with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop on clear days. You may spot lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and large elephant families moving across the plains. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before departing again for an afternoon game drive, focusing on the park’s wetlands that attract hippos and abundant birdlife. Following breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive north toward the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Hell’s Gate National Park around midday. This unique park offers an active safari experience where you can walk or cycle among wildlife [at additional cost], including zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and buffaloes, and explore dramatic gorges, cliffs, and geothermal features. Later, proceed to Lake Naivasha for check-in, dinner, and overnight at your hotel or lodge.
