You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Johannesburg to Kruger
Your driver will meet you at O.R. Tambo Airport at 07h00 am for your trip to Kruger Shalati. You should arrive between 12h30 and 14h00 to be in time for lunch served at Bridge House. By 14h00, you can check into your suite and rest until 16h00 when high tea is served in the lounge carriage. Promptly at 16h30, you will depart on the afternoon game drive of about 3 hours, including a drinks break at sunset. By 19h30, you will return to the train where dinner will be served at Bridge House, after which you can enjoy a good night’s rest in the comfort of your suite. Day 2
Morning & Evening Safaris in Kruger National Park
Set the clock for very early as you need to be ready by 05h00 when your morning safari of 3 hours departs. This safari includes a stop for tea or coffee while enjoying the sun rising over the African bush. Between 08h30 and 10h00, you should be back in time for breakfast served at Bridge House. Enjoy your surroundings or explore Skukuza Rest Camp until lunch, which will be served at Bridge House from 12h30 to 14h00. After lunch, you can cool off in the unique swimming pool high above the river until 16h00, when high tea is served at the lounge carriage. At 16h30, your afternoon game drive of 3 hours in an open safari vehicle departs. It includes a drinks break at a spot from where you can enjoy the sunset. At nightfall, you might spot elusive cats out hunting. You should be back for dinner at Bridge House at 19h30. Kruger to Johannesburg
Be ready by 05h00 for a final morning safari with a tea or coffee stop at sunrise before returning for breakfast from 08h30 to 10h00. Pack and have a good final look at the river and surrounding area for check-out by 11h00 and your transfer back to Johannesburg. You will depart from O.R. Tambo Airport to Victoria Falls in the morning. Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you'll be transferred to the lodge and checked in. After time for refreshing, a captivating Zambezi River cruise awaits. Marvel at the stunning river scenery while enjoying delicious finger snacks and drinks, and cap off the evening with dinner at the lodge. Guided Walk of the Falls
After breakfast, set off on a guided nature walk of the majestic Victoria Falls rainforest to experience the awe-inspiring beauty up close. Upon return to the lodge, choose to relax or opt for an exhilarating helicopter ride over the falls for an amazing aerial view of the waterfall, the bridge, and the river. End your day with an afternoon game drive and sumptuous dinner at the lodge. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
