Day 1

Nairobi-Samburu National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north through the central highlands, passing Mount Kenya views and local towns en route to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in this semi-arid wilderness, home to unique species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, and leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2

Explore Samburu National Park

Spend a full day exploring Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve offers excellent wildlife viewing and fewer crowds, giving a more exclusive safari experience. Track predators such as lions and cheetahs, and enjoy sightings of large elephant herds along the river. You may also visit a local Samburu village to learn about their rich culture and traditions (optional). Enjoy meals and relaxation at the lodge between activities. Dinner and overnight in Samburu. Day 3

Samburu-Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive to the lush Aberdare highlands, a striking contrast to the dry north. Arrive in time for lunch, then transfer to a tree lodge set within the forest. Spend the afternoon at leisure, watching wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and bushbucks visiting the waterhole and salt lick. The cool mountain climate and dense forest create a peaceful atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving before lunch. This private conservancy is renowned for its conservation efforts and high concentration of wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive and visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. You may also have the chance to see the last two remaining northern white rhinos. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, rhinos, and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge. Spend a full day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only one in Kenya, and learn about rescued chimpanzees and conservation efforts. Enjoy a game drive across the conservancy with chances to see the last two northern white rhinos. In the evening, head out for a thrilling night game drive to spot nocturnal wildlife such as hyenas, bush babies, and possibly leopards. Dinner and overnight in Ol Pejeta.
