Day 1
Your journey begins with a transfer from O.R. Tambo International Airport at 7:40 am. Brace yourself for a 7-hour expedition, our guides greet you around 2:30 pm in Phalaborwa, a charming town bordering Kruger. Indulge in a personal lunch at a local restaurant before we head to the entrances of Kruger National Park. We access Kruger through the Phalaborwa Gate, on a leisurely drive to Letaba, our initial camp. This safari drive traverses Mopani and Bushwillow woodlands – ideal locations for encountering elephants and buffalo. Prepare for your first spectacular wildlife sighting. Upon arrival at Letaba around 6:00 pm, check-in, settle in, and relax while enjoying the sunset by the Letaba River. Letaba Camp, nestled on the riverbanks with breathtaking views. The camp offers a Park Shop, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and The Great Elephant Hall – a museum dedicated to Kruger’s most colossal elephants. As night falls, we’ll prepare a traditional South African dinner over an open fire. Inside Kruger NP Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinks not included

Renowned for vast herds of Buffalo, Elephants, and elusive Leopards along the Letaba River, this Kruger part promises awe-inspiring sightings. Keep watch for diverse wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and various antelope species. Our journey leads to a scenic picnic site, indulging in a delightful breakfast before a leisurely drive back to Letaba. Upon returning to camp, enjoy the amenities and unwind during midday. Lunch will be served, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with excitement. Brace for another thrilling game drive, exploring the area for more remarkable wildlife encounters. As the day concludes, return to camp for a delectable dinner under the vast African sky and enjoy the surroundings and sounds of the bush. Inside Kruger NP All meals included Drinks not included
Day 3
We begin with an early sunrise drive along the Letaba River. Our route takes us east, exploring an area with a large pride of lions. We’ll return to camp for a hearty breakfast, as we journey further south towards our next destination, Satara. Heading to Satara, the landscape transforms into open savannah grasslands, creating a perfect habitat for large herds of grazing animals like Zebra and Wildebeest. Upon reaching Satara, savor a prepared lunch, providing time to unwind before heading on an afternoon drive in the surrounding area. Satara is a hotspot for grazing animals, promising excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The camp features a waterhole just outside where animals can be spotted even from the camp. Tonight, dinner is at your own expense at the camp restaurant. Following dinner, prepare for a night drive in search of nocturnal animals. Led by a trained Kruger ranger, this shared adventure with fellow park guests offers a chance to witness the big cats on the prowl. Day 4
Our adventure in the Satara area begins with coffee, setting the stage for tracking Cheetahs in the expansive grasslands. We’ll return to camp for breakfast, then bid farewell to Satara. Our journey to the next camp, Skukuza, is 90 kilometers. En route, we’ll traverse areas renowned for lion sightings and stop at two iconic water points known for attracting animal species. Arriving at Skukuza around 1 pm, enjoy an own-expense lunch at the camp restaurant. Skukuza, the largest camp in Kruger, sits along the banks of the famous Sabie River, boasting beautiful riverine forest trees. After lunch, relax and explore the camp’s facilities, including a swimming pool, a Park Shop, a museum, a Wi-Fi hotspot and scenic walkway along the Sabie River with many benches. Midday, venture into the Skukuza area for more wildlife encounters, very promising for lion sightings. This area boasts an impressive 20 members. Day 5
Today we will meet for some coffee early in the morning and then go out for a sunrise safari drive, following the winding rivers as they head east and we will search the lower branches of the giant trees for any resting or feeding leopards. We also hope to see some elephant and white rhino and if we are very lucky we could spot a rare black rhino in this area. We will stop at a picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush and return to camp in the late morning. The area receives the highest rainfall of Kruger national Park and this in turn allows for stunning riverine forests to grow along the rivers. It is the perfect area for elephant and leopard and the area boasts the highest concentration of Rhino in the park. This afternoon we will take you out on a safari drive in search for some amazing animals that live in the Berg en Dal area. We will return to camp at sunset, start preparing dinner and enjoy the sounds of the African bush by the warm fire. At the beginning of November, we went on a three-day private safari with overnight stays at Skukuza Camp in Kruger National Park. The entire organisation and handling with Thale in advance was perfect, and we also received tips on how best to continue our journey in South Africa after the safari. We received an absolutely all-inclusive package. A transfer service in Johannesburg took us from the airport to Hazyview. There we met our guide Eric and the cook Keygi. We liked them both right from the start and they made us feel that we didn't have to worry or take care of anything. And that's exactly how the next few days went. We were treated to incredibly delicious food and saw fantastic wildlife in the park. Eric has been doing this for almost 20 years and was able to answer all our questions. We saw the Big Five within 1.5 days and much more. Wild Planet Safari offers an unforgettable experience with its all-inclusive service (transfer, accommodation, game drives and shared meals). We were able to concentrate fully on the animals and nature as we didn't have to worry about anything else. We can only recommend everyone to book a private safari here. If we ever get the chance to visit this beautiful place again, we will definitely book with Wild Planet Safari again. Many thanks to the entire Team.

We booked a 4-day safari with Wild Planet, and Eric made it the most wonderful experience. He was a great safari guide, the best cook and we appreciated the time with him very much. He gave us so many great moments and a lot of infomation; we saw the magnificent seven and are just so grateful. After such intense and wonderful days together, it was really hard to say goodbye. But we will come back, and in the meantime, we will recommend Wild Planet Safari (with Eric) to all our friends. Thank you so much for this incredible experience, Eric. We are glad to have met you.

We had a wonderful time touring Kruger National Park with Wild Planet Safari. We did an extended north to south tour and our guides, Eric and Ryan were great. Hope was our cook and his meals were wonderful! Thale took care of all the administrative details and was wonderful to work with. We hope to be able to do this again in the future!
