Day 1
Our driver from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will pick you up very early in the morning from your hotel to start the journey to Kibale National Park. You'll wake up early, have breakfast, and wait for him/her to show up. The journey to Kibale National Park is long but you will be rewarded with amazing sites of the countryside, national parks, forests, rivers, lakes, large plantations, the intriguing Ankole cattle, trading centers, towns, districts, and the ever-smiling peasant. Day 2
After an early morning breakfast, you will be taken to Kibale National Park headquarters for the briefing on chimpanzee trekking. The briefing is led by the park guides and is all about the rules of tracking chimpanzees, the park, and what to expect. After the briefing, the park guides will lead you into the forest to find the chimps. Chimpanzee trekking is quite different from gorilla trekking. Chimps stay longer on top of trees compared to gorillas. Their groups are also more vocal and dramatic. It is possible to hear their cries from a mile away even before getting close to them. By the time you get to them, they will have already seen your group. Tracking chimpanzees usually takes between 3 to 5 hours. You only have an hour to observe them. Use the time to take as many photos as you can. Budget lodge located just outside Kibale NP (Chimps) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
You will wake up early to have a heavy breakfast and check out. Our guide will come and pick you up to start the 2-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check in the lodge, and have lunch. Later at 4:00 pm, you will head out for an evening game drive drive in the Akasenyi planes. Day 4
You will wake up early to have breakfast at your lodge. Our guide will take you for your second game drive at the Kasenyi plains. The morning game drive will allow you to catch up with nocturnal animals and predators retreating to their dens after hunting in the night. You should also spot the early risers, especially birds. After resting for a while, you will be transferred to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. The Kazinga Channel is one of Africa’s top birding sites. You can spot both resident and migratory birds in large numbers. During the boat cruise, you will also spot most of the water-dwelling mammals as well as lions, leopards, antelopes, and primates drinking the channel. Hippos, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and crocodiles are always seen bathing/drinking by the water. Day 5
This day after morning breakfast, you will start your 6-hour journey from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your next adventure, You will drive through the beautiful landscapes with tea plantations. You will have a stopover for lunch in Kabale town. After lunch, you will proceed to the lodge for an overnight stay. Day 6
You should wake up early and order for breakfast as you wait for the driver to pick you up. The driver will take you to the park offices for a briefing by 7:00 am. This briefing is very important and is where you will meet other tourists and rangers who will be leading you to the forest. The briefing covers many topics but the most important is how to behave around the gorillas, what to expect, and what to carry along while tracking the gorillas. You will be assigned a gorilla family taking into consideration your overall fitness and age. This is because some of the gorilla groups are located deeper in the forest hence requiring more hours of trekking. Porters are available to help you with extra luggage. 5.0/5I contracted a tour to visit Gorillas from Kigali just hours before the tour had to start. Jason was so flexible & effective. The Guide, Alex was a fixer, solving all problems with VISA in Uganda, cash and so on. These guys are very Gold professionals. No doubt, they are a perfect choice

This was a great experience coming from United States. Jason was very easy to communicate with and was very fast at emailing back or on what’s app. He made the process too easy. I had a motorcycle accident two days prior and was not sure if I could go on this mountain gorilla trekking, last second I decide I was able to. He came to pick me up on time at 0300, the vehicle was nice, clean and reliable. His English is very good and easy to understand. He had the best price compared to others.

Wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for the epic Rwanda trip! Jason’s local knowledge and infectious enthusiasm made every day a blast. From the gorillas to the vibrant markets, you showed us the real deal. Your personal touch and fun stories really brought the trip to life. It felt like hanging out with a buddy who just happens to know everything about Rwanda. The laughs and good times were the cherry on top. Can’t wait to hit the road again with you soon. Keep up the great work! Cheers from your Chinese friend Yi and his parents!

Our tour was a very worthwhile experience, a day trip from Kigali to see the gorillas in Mgahinga National park. The gorillas themselves were amazing, and the tour operator was able to accommodate us on very short notice to make it happen. We had two drivers, Alex who was clearly very experienced and helped with the border crossing, and Benson who was a joy from his genuine enthusiasm and passion of what we were doing
