Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival, our driver-guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to Amboseli National Park (about 4 hours). In case of a late arrival, accommodation can be arranged at an extra cost in Nairobi. You will arrive in time for lunch, and after enjoying the best dish at your accommodation, you will embark on a guided game drive in Amboseli National Park until the sun sets. Later in the evening, at 5:00 pm, you will return to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2
Full Day in Amboseli National Park
An early morning game drive will be ideal on this day. There is little disturbance, and some of the shy animals have not yet gone into hiding. During sunrise, the views of the highest peak of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro are spectacular. You will then head for breakfast and proceed on another game drive before enjoying a packed lunch. The day will be graced by an afternoon game drive until sunset. You will return to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. A night game drive can be arranged at an extra cost. Day 3
Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park
You will enjoy a hearty breakfast at 7:30 am, then drive to Tsavo West National Park. Hike the Shetani and Chaimo Lava flows on the way to the lodge. You will be at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a guided game drive in the park until sunset. At 5:00 pm, you will return to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 4
Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
You will have a leisurely breakfast at 7:00 am, followed by a drive to Tsavo East National Park, which is located just opposite Tsavo West. It is the sister park to Tsavo West National Park. The 2 are separated by the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, and wildlife moves freely between them. Together, they form one of the largest parks in the world. They are famous for the "red elephants" and the "man-eaters" lions of Tsavo. The "red elephants" are the same colour as other elephants, but the reddish soil turns them brownish-red as they bathe in the mud to cool their bodies. The man-eaters became famous in 1898 during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway after a pair of large man-eating lions killed dozens of workers. You will have a game drive in Tsavo East on your way to your lodge for lunch. You will visit Mudanda rock, a 1.6 km inselberg ideal for game viewing. Day 5
Tsavo East National Park to Diani
You will enjoy a leisurely breakfast at 7:30 am. After check-out at the hotel and customs, you will be transferred to the Voi train station. You will enjoy a train ride to Mombasa. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax at the hotel, enjoying the accommodation amenities. Day 6
Full Day at Diani Beach
After breakfast, you will take a short walk along the white sandy beaches or lie under the palm trees in the hotel garden. You can also opt for a Wasini and Kisite Mpunguti Island excursion (optional). The excursion begins on a tasty note as you hop aboard a dhow (traditional fisherman’s boat) for a hearty Swahili lunch that dishes up the most sensational flavours from simple ingredients, and includes fresh tropical fruit. After enjoying the beach activities of your choice, you will return to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Full Day at Diani Beach
You will have a full day at leisure. Relax under the palm trees around the hotel and enjoy the ocean's cool breeze. There are a number of optional activities you can take. Take a guided city tour or visit Mida Creek in Watamu at an extra cost. Mida Creek is one of the most productive ecosystems in the world. We had a long time dream of having a once in a life time holiday experience in the great Maasai Mara and Voyage to the Magical Africa made this possible. From the planning to reservation process James was quite helpful and prompt as well. I appreciate his efforts to ensure all our needs were accommodated. Our Camp Tipilikwani was amazing xand and the food was to die for. We are greatful to our guide Jonathan who ensured we got see all the big five and alot of beautiful land scapes. Amazing trip to South coast.
I booked this trip on behalf of my family and the contact person was Jackson. He booked us in the luxurious Swahili Beach Resort between Dec 24-28 with visits to Wasini island and Shimba hills. Dani beach is beautiful. Every step of the trip was seamless. The hotel was luxurious with very hospitable staff. This is a competent and transparent tour company. Recommended!

Perfect planning and execution
James from Voyage to the Magical Africa organised our 5 nights trip to Diani beach. It was a trip funded by our company for those that met their Quarter 3 sales targets.
