Day 1
Upon arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met and transferred to your Cape Town hotel. Explore the Mother City and the fairest Cape. Start with the oldest buildings in South Africa, to trendy waterfront shopping, the majestic Table Mountain, sun-drenched beaches and dramatic seascapes to verdant vineyards. Cape Town regularly tops many lists of the world's must-visit destinations. Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain has recently been voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Cosmopolitan and fashionable, the relaxed atmosphere and pavement café culture give Cape Town a southern European feel, but with a distinctive African twist. Included activities: Half-day city tour, full-day Cape Point Tour Suggested activities: Robben Island, V&A Waterfront, Two Oceans Aquarium. Luxury hotel located in Cape Town (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 4
A tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a tour of the Cape Winelands. After a full day of exploring the various wine routes and enjoying wine tastings along the way, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Franschhoek. The village of Franschhoek is at the heart of the Franschhoek Wine Route and is surrounded by craggy mountains and verdant vineyards. Many of the 42 wine estates on the Franschhoek Wine Route offer informative guided wine tastings to the public as well as cellar tours or tours of the vineyards. Some of them also make cheese, chocolate and olive oil and offer tastings of these products alongside their wines. There is a hop-on hop-off Wine Tram, which visits some of these estates. Franschhoek village, South Africa’s “French Corner”, has a distinctly French feel and is undoubtedly South Africa’s gourmet capital, with several of South Africa’s Top Ten restaurants. Included activity: Full-day Winelands Tour Suggested activity: Winetram. Luxury guest house located in Franschhoek (Winelands) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 6
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your guest house. Your hired vehicle is delivered to your guest house. You begin your journey to Hermanus, a seaside town home to the Southern right whale. If you are visiting between late June and December, we suggest a whale-watching boat cruise (optional - additional cost) or just viewing them from the shore. Suggested activities: Take a whale-watching cruise along the Dyer Islands or visit local wine farms, art galleries and museums in town. Whale Watching Boat Cruise is an optional activity (at additional cost). Luxury guest house located in Hermanus (Whales) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5We had an absolutely brilliant trip to South Africa and I can’t recommend Tammy from Pembury Tours highly enough. From the very beginning, the advice and planning were outstanding and the entire holiday was put together seamlessly by them - from flights, to hotels, to the hire car and everything in between. The whole experience from the safari to the drive along the beautiful Garden Route was unforgettable. Every hotel we stayed in was unique, welcoming and exceptional. It honestly felt like each stop could have been a destination in itself. Throughout the trip everything ran smoothly and all the information provided beforehand made things incredibly easy for us. A real highlight was the Travel Portal, which beautifully documented every part of the trip. It contained everything we needed in one place, along with a wealth of useful information about South Africa from safety advice, to tipping guidance, and suggestions for activities and attractions. What really stood out was how stress-free the entire experience was. All the hard work had clearly been taken care of, which meant we could simply relax and enjoy every moment. It was a truly memorable trip from start to finish and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Kerry Ririe at Pembury Tours and I go back years and I have used them whenever I am planning a trip to Southern Africa to visit family and friends. We are not the easiest customer often choosing our own destinations with high demand. Kerry is exceptionally informative and helpful making the process seem so seamless. I can highly recommend Pembury Tours.

Our honeymoon, planned by Gail and Pembury Tours, was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly curated, allowing us to fully relax and soak in every magical moment. We had the absolute privilege of experiencing the breathtaking Okavango Delta in Botswana, followed by the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls in both Zambia and Zimbabwe. Each destination was unique and unforgettable, and the seamless transitions between locations made the entire journey stress-free and enjoyable. Gail truly went above and beyond in every aspect of the planning. Her attention to detail, care, and dedication ensured that our honeymoon exceeded all expectations. It was clear that she put so much thought into creating a once in a lifetime experience for us. We cannot recommend Gail and Pembury Tours enough. If you are looking for a perfectly planned, unforgettable travel experience, they are the team to trust. We will most definitely be using them again in the future!

Susan was recommended to us by a friend of a friend, and I am *so* grateful she was! We were planning a trip to South Africa, and were overwhelmed by choices and really unsure how to choose between them. Susan gave us excellent advice and made some superb recommendations, from which we picked Umlani Bush Camp from the Timbavati reserve. Susan took care of all the arrangements, and sent us a super useful itinerary and travel guide, which we relied upon heavily throughout our South African adventure. She also helped us find a hotel in Johannesburg and gave us really good advice about building our itinerary there. We had the most magical four nights at Umlani. It was everything Susan had said, and more. And she was available on email and WhatsApp throughout the period leading up to our stay and during it. We were confident that we were well informed, well supported and enthusiastically cared for. Susan helped us build a really special holiday, the memories of which will last a lifetime. I would not hesitate to recommend Susan to anyone wanting to book a safari - or indeed any element of a holiday in South Africa. Pembury Tours are excellent value for money, superb communicators and deliver all they promise.
