Day 1
This morning you will meet up with your guide either at the airport or at your accommodation in Windhoek. We will drive through the Khomas Hochland and down the escarpment via one of the scenic mountain passes into the Namib Desert. This journey will take about four hours, including stops for photographs. The Namib is the oldest desert and boasts the highest sand dunes in the world. This region is one of the most spectacular areas in Africa. The name Sossusvlei refers to the vlei or pan into which the seasonal Tsauchab River flows in years of exceptional rainfall. The neighbouring Dead Vlei, with its ancient dead Camel Thorn trees, photographs beautifully in the early morning light. The Sesriem canyon is a narrow gorge about one km long and is also well worth a visit. Several desert adapted wildlife like oryx, springbok, black-backed jackal, ostrich, sociable weavers, and plenty of reptiles and small mammals call this place home. Mid-range lodge located outside Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 2
After an early breakfast and coffee, we will depart for a morning excursion to Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei. We will stop at the scenic Dune 45 along the way. Some of the dunes in the area are a few hundred meters high, but the view from the top for those that dare to climb them is unfogettable. After lunch we will depart for Swakopmund via Namib Naukluft National Park. We will spend the night at a guesthouse and enjoy dinner at a restaurant in Swakopmund. Please note that dinner tonight is at your own expense. Swakopmund has plenty of great restaurants and bars, good shopping opportunities, and fascinating architecture. For the adventurous types there is quad biking, sand-boarding, skydiving, beach angling, and scenic flights over the coastline and Sossusvlei on offer. Mid-range hotel located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 3
After breakfast we will depart on an adventure to learn more about the fascinating wildlife of the Namib Desert. We will look for geckos, scorpions, side-winder snakes, lizards, and beetles, as well as the incredible plant life that survives in this harsh environment. Once we are back in Swakopmund, you will eat lunch and then have the afternoon free. You might choose to explore the town or finish the day with an optional quad-biking and dune-boarding adventure. Other optional activities that could be arranged include scenic flights over the coast and dunes. Dinner will be enjoyed at one of the many restaurants in town (at your own cost). Mid-range hotel located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 4
After breakfast we will continue our safari northwards along the Skeleton Coast. After visiting a shipwreck, we will turn inland towards Damaraland and drive past Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain at 2573 meters. Later we will visit the Twyfelfontein rock engravings (Namibia’s only world heritage site), burnt mountain, and the organ pipes rock formation. Mid-range lodge located inside Damaraland Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 5
After breakfast we will depart for Etosha National Park, where we will spend the next three nights (the first two at Etosha Safari Camp). We will go on an afternoon game drive upon arrival. The following day we will go on early morning and late afternoon drives, visiting various waterholes famous for the huge numbers of animals drinking there. Mid-range lodge located just outside Etosha NP Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 7
From Etosha Safari Camp we will spend a full day travelling through the park to Mushara Lodge, enjoying a game drive en route. The lodge is situated just outside the eastern section of the park on its own small game reserve. This section of Etosha offers fantastic game viewing and lush vegetation. We will spend our final evening relaxing at the beautiful Mushara Lodge. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Etosha NP Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 8
After an early morning game drive or a relaxing breakfast, we will depart for Windhoek so you can catch your connecting flight. We can also organise a trip extension to visit the San Bushman and perhaps spend the night at Okonjima Lodge, home of the African foundation. Many of our clients prefer to spend an additional night at Mushara to fully explore and appreciate the game rich eastern section of Etosha. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5Nature Travel Namibia exceeded our expectations in every way. Right from the beginning, communications were excellent regarding itinerary planning and realised very quickly we were in the hands of true travel professionals. The consultant prepared a fantastic itinerary at short notice to suit our budget and we had a brilliant and very memorable birding trip around Namibia for 16 days. We travelled with a clued up bird guide who drove us very safely the whole 4,475km journey. The guide was extremely hard working, diligent and patient with us with a good sense of humour. All the lodges and camps selected ranged from nice to beyond beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nature Travel Namibia and we will be back to do it again one day.

We organized the tour of Namibia, the safari, next stops at Victoria Falls and Chobe through e-mail exchanges. Mrs Petra was attentive to our requests and able to adapt her proposal to our preferences. She understood what we wanted and helped us to turn a dream into reality. It was amazing! The guide, Marcel, she is an excellent driver. She knows the areas very well and we didn’t miss any opportunity to see animals and experience fun adventure. she is positive, communicative and respectful of customer’s space. The transfers and accommodations were well organized. We can say it was unforgettable holiday because of landscapes, animals, contact with nature, confort and good vibes!

From the moment our adventure began, Nature Travel Namibia delivered an experience that was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail—from the seamless logistics to the thoughtfully curated itinerary, which included all our special requests—reflected their commitment to excellence and genuine passion for travel. Communication with Pepi was very smooth throughout. Joram, the BEST GUIDE EVER, was wonderful from the moment he picked us up at the airport and remained exceptional throughout the entire trip. He was not only highly knowledgeable but also warm, thoughtful, engaging, and incredibly attentive to the needs of our family. His local insights added depth to every stop, turning each moment into a story worth remembering. The accommodations, meals, and activities were all top-notch, striking the perfect balance between comfort and authenticity. The app that allowed us to follow the itinerary—from Windhoek through Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein, and finally the breathtaking Etosha—was very handy. We especially loved the Tug Restaurant in Swakopmund, and each lodge had its own unique personal touch. The state-run ones within Etosha were more crowded, but still enjoyable. Namibia is such a wonderful country—it truly felt like we were part of a David Attenborough documentary. What truly set this experience apart was the personal touch, thanks to Joram, who took such amazing care of us that saying goodbye was genuinely emotional. I wholeheartedly recommend this operator to anyone seeking an unforgettable travel experience. Thank you for making this trip extraordinary!

Nature Travel Namibia organized a fantastic 14 days tour in Namibia for the 2 of us. Everything was professionally done and the selection of lodges was superb. Nadine managed to get a small celebration form my wife's birthday as well. Our guide, Stewart Matsoto made the experience even better with his good knowledge of the country and the nature. I strongly suggest to organize your next tour or safari with Nature Travel Namibia.
