Day 1
Welcome to Namibia! Your guide will meet you at the arrivals hall of the airport, after which you will depart for Sossusvlei. We will drive through the Khomas Hochland and down the escarpment via one of the scenic mountain passes into the Namib Desert. We will make regular stops for photographs and to stretch our legs. This journey will take about 4 hours and we will arrive at our lodge late in the afternoon. Depending on the time of arrival, we can do a short walk around the lodge or meet up for sundowners. Later, we will enjoy dinner and plan our exciting day tomorrow. Mid-range lodge located outside Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
We will be up before the sun rises to get ready for our Sossusvlei visit. We will enjoy a quick cup of coffee/tea and then wait for the entrance gates of the park to open. (The gates open at sunrise.) We will drive for about 30 minutes while appreciating the beauty of the sun that is rising over the amazing red dunes. The dunes in this area are some of the highest in the world, reaching almost 400 meters. They provide opportunities to capture wonderful images in the beautiful morning and evening light. For the adventurous, you have the option of climbing or sliding down the dunes, or enjoy a brisk walk to Dead Vlei. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the many highlights that surrounds Sossusvlei itself. We will take a break halfway and enjoy a picnic breakfast while enjoying the surrounding landscape. After a full morning's activity, we will make our way to Swakopmund where we will spend 2 nights. Mid-range guest house located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
After breakfast, you will have the whole day to explore this lovely town and its surroundings. Swakopmund is known for its very relaxed atmosphere, and it has something for everybody. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars, good shopping opportunities and fascinating architecture. We can also assist in arranging some optional activities for you. If you are up for an adventure then there is quad biking, sand boarding or go for just a wonderful outdoors experience. There is a living desert tour or kayaking around pelican point. Other optional activities that could be arranged include scenic flights over the coast and dunes or a scenic catamaran sailing tour. Mid-range guest house located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Today we'll continue our safari northwards along the Skeleton Coast. This bleak and evocatively named area is one of the most unusual coastal wildernesses on the planet, protecting about a third of Namibia’s long coastline. After visiting one of the many shipwrecks along the coast for some dramatic photographs, we will turn inland towards spectacular Damaraland. We will drive past the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain. In the distance, we will also see the Spitzkoppe (sharp head), one of Namibia’s most recognizable landmarks. This beautiful mountainous region is home to an assortment of scientifically important desert-adapted wildlife such as elephant, rhino, zebra and lion, which somehow survive and thrive in this near-barren landscape. We hope to see some of them; a special treat indeed! We will be at our lodge in time for a sundowner drink while we enjoy the view over this rugged but beautiful landscape. Dinner will be enjoyed at our lodge. Mid-range lodge bordering Damaraland without fences Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 5
After breakfast, we will make our way north and visit the Twyfelfontein rock engravings (UNESCO World Heritage site), the organ pipes rock formation and the Petrified Forest en route to Etosha National Park. Here we will spend the next 3 nights. Afterwards, we'll arrive at the lodge and freshen up. We will meet up just before sunset and then have dinner at our lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Etosha NP Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
We will explore the southwestern side of world famous Etosha Park today, going for a morning drive in our own vehicle after breakfast and returning to our lodge for lunch and a break in the heat of the day. In the drier months of the year, almost all the animals tend to congregate around the waterholes dotted around the massive park. They come to drink water and are inevitably followed by predators. This allows us to sit and wait at some of the waterholes and for the action to come to us. This is what sets Etosha apart from other parks in southern or east Africa; unique indeed! We will return to the lodge after our afternoon game drive in our own vehicle to enjoy dinner. Remember to look up before settling into your bed tonight—the African night sky, undisturbed by city lights out here in the bush, is truly amazing. Mid-range lodge located just outside Etosha NP Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
From here, we will make our way across the park in a full day game drive in our own vehicle to the eastern boundary where we will exit the park. We will stop for lunch halfway at Halali Camp and then make our way to our overnight destination, which is about 2 hours from the Etosha National Park gate. After checking in and freshening up, we will meet up for sundowner drinks. Our final dinner will be enjoyed at our lodge. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Etosha NP Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8
After an early morning breakfast, we will depart for Windhoek where you will catch your connecting flight. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5Nature Travel Namibia exceeded our expectations in every way. Right from the beginning, communications were excellent regarding itinerary planning and realised very quickly we were in the hands of true travel professionals. The consultant prepared a fantastic itinerary at short notice to suit our budget and we had a brilliant and very memorable birding trip around Namibia for 16 days. We travelled with a clued up bird guide who drove us very safely the whole 4,475km journey. The guide was extremely hard working, diligent and patient with us with a good sense of humour. All the lodges and camps selected ranged from nice to beyond beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nature Travel Namibia and we will be back to do it again one day.

We organized the tour of Namibia, the safari, next stops at Victoria Falls and Chobe through e-mail exchanges. Mrs Petra was attentive to our requests and able to adapt her proposal to our preferences. She understood what we wanted and helped us to turn a dream into reality. It was amazing! The guide, Marcel, she is an excellent driver. She knows the areas very well and we didn’t miss any opportunity to see animals and experience fun adventure. she is positive, communicative and respectful of customer’s space. The transfers and accommodations were well organized. We can say it was unforgettable holiday because of landscapes, animals, contact with nature, confort and good vibes!

From the moment our adventure began, Nature Travel Namibia delivered an experience that was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail—from the seamless logistics to the thoughtfully curated itinerary, which included all our special requests—reflected their commitment to excellence and genuine passion for travel. Communication with Pepi was very smooth throughout. Joram, the BEST GUIDE EVER, was wonderful from the moment he picked us up at the airport and remained exceptional throughout the entire trip. He was not only highly knowledgeable but also warm, thoughtful, engaging, and incredibly attentive to the needs of our family. His local insights added depth to every stop, turning each moment into a story worth remembering. The accommodations, meals, and activities were all top-notch, striking the perfect balance between comfort and authenticity. The app that allowed us to follow the itinerary—from Windhoek through Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein, and finally the breathtaking Etosha—was very handy. We especially loved the Tug Restaurant in Swakopmund, and each lodge had its own unique personal touch. The state-run ones within Etosha were more crowded, but still enjoyable. Namibia is such a wonderful country—it truly felt like we were part of a David Attenborough documentary. What truly set this experience apart was the personal touch, thanks to Joram, who took such amazing care of us that saying goodbye was genuinely emotional. I wholeheartedly recommend this operator to anyone seeking an unforgettable travel experience. Thank you for making this trip extraordinary!

Nature Travel Namibia organized a fantastic 14 days tour in Namibia for the 2 of us. Everything was professionally done and the selection of lodges was superb. Nadine managed to get a small celebration form my wife's birthday as well. Our guide, Stewart Matsoto made the experience even better with his good knowledge of the country and the nature. I strongly suggest to organize your next tour or safari with Nature Travel Namibia.
