Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Your tour guide will pick you up directly from the airport or after breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi, depending on your arrival and departure time, and leave for Masai Mara. You'll drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This extensive reserve is actually part of the Serengeti's vast plains, famously known for its amazing great migration of wildebeests. It is home to the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos. You will have lunch at the camp and relax before proceeding with the afternoon drive. Other animals in the park include Maasai giraffes, elands, impalas, zebras, topi, and both Thompson's and Grant gazelles. Mid-range tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
After an early breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch or agree with your guide to break for lunch at the camp, depending on your choice. On the plains are large herds of herbivores grazing, and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. You will hardly miss seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). You will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the great migration, when in season (July through October). The immense herds of wildebeests and zebras are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. For more experience, at an extra cost, you can visit the nearby Maasai community and witness their lifestyle and traditional culture. You can also take a pre-dawn hot-air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. Mid-range tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
You will have an early pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, you'll depart the Mara region for Nakuru, arriving at lunchtime. After lunch and a short rest, you will embark on your afternoon drive in the park. Lake Nakuru, also called the pink lake and popularly known for its high population of flamingoes and other waterbirds, has many different species of mammals in its ecosystem. All the Big Five except the elephant are here, as well as giraffes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, and spotted hyenas, among others. This park is rich in birdlife with over 350 species. Apart from the popular greater and lesser flamingos, there are also plovers, marabou storks, white pelicans, and egrets. After the delightful drive, you will return for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. Mid-range lodge located inside Lake Nakuru NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Naivasha. On arrival, you will check into the hotel, have lunch and spend the afternoon at your leisure with a boat ride (at an extra cost) at Lake Naivasha. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow-barked Acacia xanthophyll, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with birdlife, and Naivasha is known as a world-class birding destination. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps, and colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lakes' large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows. Zebra, impala, caracal, leopard and waterbuck can also be seen in the immediate vicinity of Lake Naivasha. Proceed for a boat ride experience, and we can arrange a trip to Crescent Island at an extra cost. In the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Luxury resort located at Lake Naivasha (Naivasha) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
Wake up for an early breakfast and depart to Nairobi with an en-route lunch. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will drive directly to the airport, where you will board a domestic flight to Diani Beach for some peaceful days and relaxation on the long, stretched white sand. You'll be received by your driver at Ukunda Airstrip and transferred to Diani Beach, which is one hour and fifteen minutes away. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay. Mid-range resort located at Diani Beach All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
For these two beach days, you will spend your time at leisure enjoying the hotel's facilities. Diani has a population of around 100,000 inhabitants and is famous for its white sand beaches and blue ocean. The beach is popular for relaxing resorts, which are popular with honeymooners, backpackers and families on holiday. Try a camel ride for the tourist experience or book a bike tour inland for a glimpse of life in local villages. Inland from the beach, there is extensive vegetation, including numerous palm trees, which cover the coastal areas. The Mwachema River flows into the sea at Diani Beach. The general area is known for its coral reefs, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and the closely located Shimba Hills National Reserve, a wildlife reserve which looks out over the Indian Ocean. Diani Beach has restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and several shopping centres. The beach is also a popular kitesurfing, jet skiing, and snorkelling location. Mid-range resort located at Diani Beach All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ukunda Airport, where you will make a domestic connecting flight to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). You will fly to JKIA with enough time for check-in (usually leave around 3 to 4 hours for this activity). Today marks the last day of your epic and leisurely-paced Kenyan safari. We hope we have exceeded your safari expectations and look forward to positive reviews. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

5.0/5I was referred to Arzoni Africa Safaris by a friend. My Canadian boyfriend informed me around June that he was planning to have spend a two weeks safari and beach relaxation in Kenya and Tanzania. Parks of his interest were Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Amboseli, Taita hills, Ol Pajeta and Lake Naivasha. Sam made our safari planning seamless and every request by my boyfriend and I were considered in the final itinerary. Overally, we had 10 days of safari and 4 nights in Zanzibar. The choice of accommodations was amazing and our expectations were met. Food was also excellent except in Elewana Tortilis (Amboseli) which were somewhat too spicy. George was a great guide with a sense of humour. We will definitely choose Arzoni safaris again and again. Beryle & Barry

I needed some accommodation for the trip so I emailed them a month before. They were flexible about my needs and the communication with Caren and the team went smooth and everything was clear. The planning process went well. I was expecting the unexpected on the day of my trip, but our guide John was super helpful and knowledgeable about experience so I felt comfortable and taken care of. We had interesting conversations during the trip. I absolutely recommend this tour company .
