Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your journey starts with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the stunning Maasai Mara National Reserve. En route, you will enjoy sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley, characterized by rolling hills and authentic Maasai settlements. You will arrive at your luxury safari lodge in time for lunch, followed by a chance to relax and take in the expansive savannah scenery before your first afternoon game drive. Later, as the sun begins to set, you will head deeper into the reserve for an unforgettable wildlife experience. You may capture incredible photos of the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles resting beneath the waters. Your guide will lead you across the open plains in search of wildlife such as leopards and cheetahs on the move. As evening falls with golden skies, you will return to your lodge for a fine dining experience and a peaceful overnight stay in the heart of the African wilderness. Day 2
Masai Mara National Reserve
You will rise early for a breathtaking sunrise game drive, when the Maasai Mara’s predators are at their most active. During this time, you may observe lions returning from a night hunt, hyenas competing over remains, and herds of zebras and antelopes beginning their morning grazing. The crisp morning conditions also improve your chances of spotting shy wildlife such as leopards resting quietly in the trees. You will later return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation, taking advantage of the comfort and facilities available. In the afternoon, you will head out again for another game drive, focusing on larger herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and alert cheetahs scanning the plains. Along the way, you will witness fascinating interactions within the ecosystem, from oxpecker birds feeding on large mammals to jackals shadowing predator movements. Day 3
Crossing Borders-On to the Legendary Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will set off toward the Isebania border, crossing from Kenya’s Maasai Mara into Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. The journey offers beautiful scenery, with vast open plains and traditional Maasai homesteads along the way. Once border procedures are completed, you will continue with a relaxed lunch stop before proceeding into the Serengeti’s endless wilderness. On arrival, you will enjoy a game drive en route to your luxury tented camp, encountering wildlife such as wildebeest herds, zebras, and possibly lions resting in the shade of acacia trees. The afternoon drive provides excellent opportunities to observe the Serengeti’s rich biodiversity, including giraffes moving gracefully across the plains and cheetahs scanning for prey. You will reach your camp in the evening, where you can relax, take in a spectacular sunset, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner beneath the African night sky. Day 4
Further Adventures in the Iconic Serengeti National Park
You will begin the day with an early morning game drive when the golden light creates the perfect setting for wildlife photography. You'll spot elephants moving in family groups, leopards lounging in the treetops, and hyenas scavenging from last night’s hunt. You'll return to camp for a hearty breakfast before continuing your adventure across the Serengeti’s endless plains. You will return to your lodge for lunch and a rest, perhaps a dip in the pool or a walk around your beautiful lodge surroundings. In the afternoon, you'll set out on another exciting game drive and explore new territories, including the Seronera Valley, known for its high density of big cats. Watch vultures circle above, signaling a fresh kill nearby. As the afternoon unfolds, you will encounter more of the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife before heading back to your lodge for a sundowner drink and a cozy dinner by the fire. Day 5
Deeper into the Wild Serengeti National Park
You will begin the day with a morning game drive through the quieter, more remote sections of the Serengeti, where cheetahs may be seen sprinting across the open plains and herds of eland and topi graze undisturbed. Keep your camera close, as you may also be lucky enough to spot rare sightings such as a serval cat or playful lion cubs interacting with their pride. After returning to the lodge for lunch, you will head out for a final afternoon game drive across the Serengeti. This last exploration offers a chance to discover more hidden wildlife moments, including crocodiles basking along the riverbanks and hippos crowding together in the water. As the day comes to an end, you will return to camp for a farewell dinner, reflecting on the remarkable wildlife experiences shared in this extraordinary landscape. Day 6
Serengeti to Zanzibar Beach
After a final sunrise in the Serengeti and a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar, a true island paradise. On arrival, you will be met and taken to your luxury beachfront resort, where soft white sands and gently swaying palm trees create the perfect tropical welcome. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax, whether by the infinity pool or with a soothing spa treatment (optional activities not included). The following day is at leisure, allowing you to enjoy Zanzibar at your own pace. You may choose to snorkel among colorful coral reefs, sail on a traditional dhow during sunset, or explore the rich history and culture of Stone Town.
