5.0/5After contacting several tour companies we ended up choosing Amshar first and formost because of their great customer service. Leoni was very quick to respond to all of our inquires from the start. He was able to accomadate our needs and was very proffessional. Our accomadations were great the lodges were beautiful. Leoni helped organize our round trip flights from Zanzibar as well as our transfers. We booked a 3 day 2 night safari. We arrived in Arusha and were met at the airport by our guide Edward & Leoni. From there it was all easy and fun. Edward went out of his way to make sure we saw and experianced an amazing safari. He was knowledgable and explained a lot about the local culture. We were in a pop up jeep that was very comfortable. My husband really wanted to see lions and on our first day we were on our way out of the park and he heard over the radio that one had been spotted not too far away so he went back especially. On our second day we went to the crater and he took a less traveled road which was great because it gave us amazing views on our way down. We could not have been happier. He always made sure we were ok to move on and continue. I highly recomend booking through them !

We had a 11 days safari trip with Amshar. Edward responded very quickly when we approached for quotation. He adjusted the agenda and hotel per our wish, and provided us with the competitive price compared with other companies. We enjoyed the trip very much thanks to Aloyce. He helped us buying phone SIM cards and bought us to the supermarket for necessities on the first day. And he shared a lot of knowledge about different animals along the way. We saw all the big five (except Rhino from a very far distance) and the migration of wildebeest and zebras. We are so amazed by all the animals we saw on the way. We had a small hiccup on the way that one of the hotel does not have hot water provided in the shower and it took quite some time to solve the problem. Luckily at the end, they have changed another room for us and we can have hot shower. We also did a one day hike to Kilimanjaro and one day trip to Materuni waterfall which was highly recommended. African was our hiking guide on first day and he shared so many culture and plant knowledge on the way up to hut. Daniel was our second day guide to waterfall, coffee plantation area and the hot spring, he and the team were so enthusiastic, we felt so welcome and spent such a good day together. However the hot spring is very packed on Sunday when we went, but highly recommend to go on weekend as the hot spring itself is beautiful.

A great experience to do gamings in the national parks. We are able to see the lion families for several times! Thanks Stanley helping us all the way along and gave us a wonderful memory. We got into trouble due to lost luggage etc but Edward helped us to figure out. Thank you!

Sorry for the super late review! I accidentally lost the note Rajab gave me on the last day, and things have been crazy busy since I got back home, so this kept getting pushed back. But wow, my 5-day safari in Tanzania was absolutely incredible! First off, communication with Amshar Serengeti Adventure via email was super smooth. Leoni was really patient and professional—all my requests were taken care of perfectly. Once I arrived in Arusha and started the safari, my guide Rajab was just amazing—like, seriously the best! He’s super responsible, knows his stuff inside out, and you can really feel his genuine love for the land and the animals. Thanks to his expertise, quick thinking, and how tuned in he was to the radio updates, I managed to see the Big Five! We did miss the wildebeest crossing, but Rajab’s experience really shined through. He checked with me, and we decided to head out early to look for other animals instead of gambling the whole day waiting—and that turned out to be such a smart move! Later that day, we ran into another group who’d waited all day at the Mara River. They told us the wildebeest never crossed… So glad we left early, because we ended up spotting another pride of lions! All in all, Rajab was seriously professional, friendly, and on top of everything. Amshar Serengeti Adventure definitely knows how to deliver a top-notch experience!
